Taecyeon (rapper) is a big goofball. Always funny, cute and super loud. He's also not only just a rapper, idol and actor. He's a brainiak (compleated several university courses, speaks at least 5 languages, plays sax and guitar, was in a chess club at school). He composes songs for 2pm like all other members in the group and writes all rap parts in songs. He's the cause of creation of the group nickname "beastly idols". He himself has a nickname "Okcat". After his military service he has nickname "Captain Korea" for his outstanding service, sacrifice and appearance in army. He's sometimes cute and sometimes scary because of his behaviour 😅

This might be a little side-track information but the rapper Taecyeon, if you really want see what he is like I would suggest watching; Three Meals a Day: Jeongseon Village 1 & 2. It's actually a really, really relaxing wholesome show to watch. Taec is probably the most natural in this than in any other show. Watch it alone or w/e but I think you would enjoy it.

I'm so happy all the 2nd generation kpop groups are coming back. I started my kpop journey with the 2nd gen groups and I've waited 6 years for 2PM to finally make a comeback. Thank you for the reaction! Last year, when 2PM was inactive (cause of military service) the song 'My House' actually went viral!! The reason was that the fancams of 'My House' from the member Lee Junho got insanely popular all of a sudden. He happens to be my bias so I'm so happy that he gets a lot of recognition in Korea now! The members Taecyeon and Junho are actually chosen to represent the Korean Film Industry. 200 actors were chosen in total and I think about 5 of them are idol actors, D.O. is also one of them!

My House is covered by many idols, you probably heard the rendition from other idol groups. 2PM is my ultimate favourite. I have loved them since 2008 and will love them ever after.

It's so nice to have 2PM back, it's been so long. And I love their new track, there is a certain something that comes with age and experience. And the pulling up of the sleeves, I am so glad you commented on it. It was very simple and yet devastating. The MV was so busy and dramatic but the track itself was so lovely and simple in the best way. I am not surprised you recognised My House. It was such a thing when it came out in 2015...

Even though you haven't listened or reacted to 2PM before, you will be surprised once you go through their work. A lot of idol groups, both male and female, have covered their songs over the years. Since they are the bread earners of JYP, they had to tour a lot which brings in a sea of cash but damages their presence in the home market since they don't have activity and out of sight...out of mind. However 2PM is one of the breakthrough acts and are still relevant now. Seo Taiji started the whole K-pop thing and then the first generation idols copied everything because it was tried and tested formula. 2PM broke the ice and you can still see their influence in current idol groups. Infact BTS follows 2PM religiously. Early BTS is a perfect example of 2PM during their 10 out of 10 era and now the clean look of BTS is a direct 2015 2PM impact. The CEO of Big Hitz actually worked with 2PM and 2AM and was one of the close advisors so maybe that has to do with it as well.

I also haven't really listened to 2pm too but I've seen them in dramas and variety shows. I'm def going to check them out now!!

I found them after Vincenzo (I kept pausing on Taecyeon's scenes, lol), but my youngest daughter already knew about them. She liked a couple of their songs but said they were "old" (she's 14). I checked them out and went "DAYUM!" I really enjoy watching grown men performing as the adults that they are. It also does something for an older woman's psyche to have still been a teenager when the members were born, whereas the newer generation groups I was all 20-30+ and mommy-fied.

2PM are an unique group in kpop, they started by introducing acrobatics on their stages, they were focused on powerful mainly performances, but have grown into mature sexy man, their sexiness is kinda effortless and it shows, their definitely more into r&b now, the first guy in the Make It MV, that's Wooyoung and he wrote and composed the song, the guy with the high notes is Jun. K and he wrote and composed My House, they all have solo careers and make their own music, but the sinergy they have as 2PM is just something else

2pm was not a group I liked musically speaking. I knew the songs and stuff, but I followed them because of how hilarious they are on variety shows. only when my house came out, I was completely hooked. The album is great with songs that I still listen to today. I highly recommend that you listen to this entire album at least.
