I love both versions so much but for two totally different reasons. One for more of an angry, anxious depression, the other for the really low, deep melancholic depression.... like two stages of grief....If that makes sense... Hard to explain... I cant get enough of this one though 🖤

I liken it to stages of grief. The original is the angry, break everything, screaming. Ronnie’s version is more of the depression and flailing. 🫶🏻

Congratulations both of you sobriety is difficult at times but let me tell you as a recovering addict it's tough when life starts throwing the curve balls at you but, if I can fight through it y'all can as well with support from family, friends, and loved ones anything is possible my wife and I both sobered up to be a good support for my dad who also struggled with the bottle but, we're all working together and beating it day by day

I'm so glad that stumbled upon your channel. I have not met anyone around my advanced age that loves this type of music: power metal, power rock, etc. Its like a whole generation turned away from the emotions that deep meaning and hard music uncovers. My family wanted some gift ideas for Christmas. I gave them a list of bands I'm into so that they can select merch like T-shirts, etc. I adore Dan Vasc and Tommy Johanssen along with Ronnie. So now my fam might be checking into assisted living facilities. Lol. Thanks for your wonderful reactions. I saw one if you wiping your eyes. I especially love the end of the song after the world is rebuilt and the fire is retreating back to it's origin. The world was all turned to ash from the song "Watch the World Burn", this video is the world being repaired.

The ending was amazing I wonder how mean people remember the end of “watch the world burn” that the globe was literally burning. At the end of this video the burning was reversing. I feel like Ronnie is telling a story and at the end it will all make sense and I can’t wait to see more of his story!

Speechless with this one. I am in love with it, but like I’ve said before, great art a lot of times with a lot of pain. It’s heartbreaking to think of what caused Ronnie to interpret the song this way. He is so talented but clearly has been through some difficult things. Having been through some myself, I can definitely relate to a lot of these lyrics, but I also am grateful for medication and therapy as well as loving family and friends to help me through. A lot of suffering happens in silence. It’s so hard to ask for help. Thanks for the video grannies. We love you so much! ❤

It was said by a few on tiktok that the papa roach version catered to the broken teenager at its release but that ronnies' version catered to the broken adults that those broken teenagers became.

Ronnie unfortunately built a bad reputation for himself several years ago & some people just can’t let it go. Although some of it was true, some of it should be more carefully scrutinized before believed. He’s older & wiser now is is trying his best to be a better person. I adore this take on the song and it is fitting for how I have been feeling for some time. And for those who do not understand Major Depression, I hope this might help you to 'get it'. The 'don't have to go it alone' is the point really. Because you ARE alone and the people you would just love to get it, to sense it, rather than expecting you to reach out to talk when you are curled up in a ball, and screaming on the inside - they are who we need. Ronnie is good friends with Papa Roach and there is a clip on KZfaq of him nervously playing the video to them. So sweetly looking for the validation. At one point he is asked, I think by Jacoby, if that is Ronnie playing the piano and Ronnie says it isn't - it is the studio pianist he and FIR use. Ronnie is a very complex man and has had his share of stuff. Would love to read his book but it costs the same to ship it to Australia as the book itself costs. Still pondering. Love to you both.

He certainly does have a beautiful and mesmerizing voice, and I love his music! Have you ever reacted to any of Greta Van Fleet’s music yet? I didn’t see any in your recent videos, but I really think you’d love them. Not sure what you’ve heard about them, if anything, but since you love Ronnie’s voice so much, you would absolutely love the Greta Van Fleet lead singer Josh’s voice. It gives me chills listening to him. He has an outstanding range and it’s just beautiful. The band is 3 biological brothers and a brother from another mother who is the drummer! I suggest Broken Bells from their last album, or Meeting the Master from their new album just out. Thanks!

We do have one on the channel by Greta Van Fleet but I apologize I can’t remember the name of it. It’s been probably a year to two years ago. We’re very familiar with this band since their home town of Frankenmuth, Mi. is about 40 miles from the city we live in. Michigan is very proud of Greta Van Fleet. Lots of people think they sound a lot like Led Zepplin. Even Robert Plant thought they did. I can hear the similarities but I think we all have influences. You know you made a immortal song that will echo through history. When covers like this is build on it. Deconstruction music this way for me shows what songs will stand the test of time. There are many great songs. But sometimes it takes the most magical cover of a great song, to prove just how brilliant it really is, and make it last forever. And not to target anyone. Because I do think Ronnie could do it. But what you hear on the track is not Ronnie playing the piano. When he makes these videos he has a composer writing them, same as his other reimagined and revamped songs. He has someone composing the music and all that, and playing the piano to. And that is not to take anything away from Ronnie, or his talent. Its just the truth. As he points out himself about this video in the clip where he shows it to Papa Roach.
