Slipknot saved my life in highschool. I was completely suicidal and so full of rage, but their music gave me an outlet and when I wanted to end it all, it made me feel less alone.

I feel ya. I am from Iowa and discovered them in middle school. I had all of these feelings that they all seemed to shared, being from a little rinky-dink ass town with as many churches as bars, it was HARD relating to anybody. It's amazing feeling like there's a place you go hide where others understand. I'm glad they helped you and you're still around.

Fantastic reaction Grannies! This is my favorite song from Slipknot. Obviously, the video was blocked, but I think having your reaction with the "Video Blocked" notice is a great work around. Wow! Rammstein first and now Slipknot: my 1-2 favorite bands. It seems like Christmas to me! 😅 Thank you for this reaction, grannies, this band has a lot of good music and interesting videos, I have two in my mind right now: "Vermilion" and "Solway Firth". It would be great if you react any of them too. Also, I was thinking it would be cool, maybe funny, if you react to a drum solo by Joey Jordison: the Slipknot ex drummer and my favorite one. They became my favorite band when their first album dropped in 1999. Haven’t disappointed me since. Seen them live half a dozen times. PLEASE Keep doing Slipknot. I love watching you enjoy them. That’s what I subscribed for a while back. Also another favorite band is Deftones. I’ll bet the farm you’ll love them. Maybe start with Change (in the house of the flies). It’s popular and gives you a glimpse of the band. I’m predicting right now you both will fall for Chino’s voice. Rock On!

Slipknot is a big part of my family life, I have followed them since 2000 and my 16 year old loves them and so does my 6 year old daughter. She always asks for Slipknot in the car, and Hello Rocking Grannies from Liverpool UK.

You guys should check out Mortal Reminder by the band called Pentakill. It's a band created for a videogame called League of Legends, it has a full on animated music video, but most importantly, they're about to release a new album with a new music video aswell. It would be a great time to jump on it since it is from one of the biggest games in the world, and the music is also really good since they hired actual metal legends to make it. Jørn Lande from Norway is the vocalist.

not sure if you've done this one yet, but I recommend the acoustic version of Snuff, by Corey Taylor. Possibly the best live performance I've ever seen in my opinion.

Just love your reactions but havent seen you dip your toes into symphonic Black Metal yet. I suggest you check out Dimmu Borgir with full symphonic orchestra and choir. The song Gateways (live in Oslo 2011) is a nice introduction and I think you will be very pleasantly surprised.

Sam, it’s called copyright flags. Sometimes when you get flagged it’s on the audio and you can get away with jump edits and manage to upload the video anyway. If it’s on the visual part of the performance you have to distort it or put a banner on it like you see or you’ll never get it up for anybody to see at all. It sucks I know, but sometimes there’s no other choice. Hope you understand and keep on rocking babies. Love you too. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤

We’ve done The Devil and I but it was blocked and is now on our Patreon page. We’ve also done Unsainted and I’m pretty sure it’s on our channel right now and wasn’t blocked.
