Marilyn is HIGHLY underrated. Mostly as a person. He was unfairly claimed for Columbine. He is so intelligent and articulate. He OWNED the conservative interviewers back in the 90s. He has his issues, but don't we all?

@@estefmendiburu4200 Exactly! The only Manson for newer generations is still Marilyn Manson's discography though. To me has been extremely important to find someone saying those things that nobody wants to talk about and even more in a way that makes you reflect so much about society, love and life. I am 32 now and listen him since I was 8.

He's a very intelligent man. He uses theatrics to convey his message. I watched an interview with him and the man asked him why he used so much profanity in his music. He said, that in his personal life that he didn't use much profanity at all. But, sometimes It's necessary to get a point across. Now, this not a direct quote but, I'm summarizing. More often than not, he out classes those interviewing him.

I’m just gonna repeat myself and strongly recommend Rammstein! They are incredible. Also, Linkin Park never gets old, damn legends both of them.

I remember my mom was taking my brother and I to school blaring this song and we were singing along and then aomeone came up to us on a bike and just threw the pamphlet in the truck and biked off. He was shook. Haha. Poor kiddo.... We always laugh when we think back to that. Love your reactions! Amazing

You gals are adventurous and open minded. So wonderful to see someone who didn’t grow up with Marilyn Manson not shy away from him and his work just based on the initial ‘icky-ness’ or out of fear of what he might represent. Good going.

this was his best album in my eyes. aside from the shock value, the man is super smart and a marketing genius. love him or hate him you know his name!

Just like other comments here, I will absolutely attest that MM's music helped me through very hard times in life and helped me to stay strong, love myself and what made me different and not give up on my dreams. I'm a musician and play a very different style (Celtic, New Age, Electronic) but love Marilyn and his deep thinking lyrics. With him, you gotta look past the shock and get to the heart of the message - which is anti-establishment and questions organized religion, politics and societal 'norms'. Having the lyrics helps too :)

This came out in 1996. I had just turned 14. One of my friends' moms complained to him about this music when she heard it from his room. He told her "Marilyn Manson is just the Alice Cooper of our generation." She nodded, and let him be. Lol.

That opening speech just proved to me that you gals will try your hardest to look at a song with as little prejudice as you can and really try to see what people like about the people that are popular, there is USUALLY a good reason, some are for the memes though tbh. Love you gals!!

He’s a shock rocker! I’m 55 & I’ve seen him in concert twice in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You really have to experience his whole body of work to know him. This is really gory, his more recent stuff isn’t as macabre! Lol

Two Grannies rocking out to Marilyn Manson, what a time to be alive. All I can say about him is his music and lyricism changed my life for the better, forced me to look at things differently. As my sister says “analyze before I criticize”, I love him and his music very much. Keep up this good work, stay safe! ✌🏽😁🤘🏽

My mom used to hate when I listen to Manson, but I always loved his music and always will. Btw just watched your videos for the first time today and already love you both! Watched 5 or 6 of your videos today! Manson actually had a new song come out not too long ago and it’s so different from his early work. It almost has a country/metal sound to it. I can’t remember the name of the song but I’ll look it up and lost it here. It’s definitely worth listening to.

It’s called “God’s Gonna Cut You Deep” , seriously look it up and give it a listen. I feel like it’s just so different from his other music like this song.

Firstly, I would like to say that you Two Rocking Grannies are AWESOME! I am a huge Marilyn Manson fan and been to two of his concerts in Canada already (I live in Saskatchewan, Canada)... His videos might be controversial at times, but his music is really good and it always got a message... I think you were referring to "The Wonder Years" TV show... they used to say that he was on that when he was young, but it is total non-sense! LOL! Keep rocking grannies. I love you guys!

Just found you two ladies, ya'll are great! I am glad you checked him out again. He's pretty awesome. He was a huge part of my teen years (I'm a 90s kid/teen) and still listen to him. I don't know if you ever have seen interviews with him, outside of the thing for The Walking Dead but he is super articulate and intelligent. It's really surprised some Talk Show Hosts. A great way to understand him is to look at where he got his name from, Marilyn from Marilyn Monroe and Manson from Charles Manson. He likes the juxtaposition of the ugliness and the beauty.

Im glad you popped up in my feed. Your my people. Im 55 and still going to concerts and rocking it out. And im.still a huge metal head. Manson has also acted and was great in the last season on SOA. I gave hung out with him twice and he is a very smart and sweet guy. Just the opposite of what you would expect him to be. You should do anything by Faster Pussycat..Cold Blood by Kix..souls of black by Testament

Fun Fact, Howard Stern's love of their cover of Sweet Dreams helped them blow up in the 90's he kept mentioning it and playing it on air.
