I am giving away $2,500.00 to the first person or team of people who can complete my Pokemon Red "Gotta use 'em all" Challenge plus an extra $500 if you complete it on console and another $100 if you complete the bonus rule! You will have until January 1st, 2023 (12am EST) to solve, complete, and submit video proof completing this challenge. Feel free to ask below or in my Discord if you have any questions! This is an extension of my first iteration of my Pokemon Red "Gotta use 'em all" Challenge. I'm extending the deadline, doubling the prize money, but making the rules harder.
I have already personally solved and completed this challenge myself, and now I challenge you to attempt it for yourself for $3,000+! If no one claims the bounty by the end of 2023, I will stream the challenge myself start to finish live to show the solution.

Good luck for those who attempt the challenge, and most importantly, have fun if you try to complete it. I've had a lot of fun making this challenge and it will be fun to reveal the solution later.

As of November 1st, 2023, no one has completed my Pokemon Red "Gotta use em' all" challenge. I have decided to extend the deadline by one month until January 1st, 2024, 12:00am EST, with one final rule change that will go into effect and replace the current ruleset after December 1st, 2023, 12:00pm EST. See the description for more information!

Hey man! I know the challenge window is gonna be over soon and even though me and some friends didn't beat it I thought I'd still upload a recording of about where we got to. We got past Brock, but it's so heavily rng based that I couldn't do it for the video. Still, we tried our best and had fun working on the challenge! Correct, it must be the original Pokemon Red for the Gameboy

So can you play on emulator or not? If so, are saves and augmented speed allowed?

Yes you can play on emulator. The Pastebin rules explain which emulator features you can and can't use. Save states are not allowed, but emulator speedup of up to 4x may be used (to approximately match Pokemon Stadium 2's Dodrio Mode). Basically anything that can be done on official hardware is allowed.
