Your 170,000 page index being legitamate to use without cheating reminds me of Zelda's Wind Waker battleship minigame. Its heavily rng, but can be manipulated to give the exact answer, but only by doing some in game tinkering and feeding it through a program. If memory serves, the speedrun community made it legit because you would have to manually input the inputs, and you can't pause the in game timer while doing so.

Animal Crossing is a game I'd love to speedrun but the mods refuse to allow emus or modded/third party consoles. It's a shame when a gaming community can't grow and reach more competitive players becase the mods just refuse to open a separate emu/third party console leaderboard

Wouldn't it make more sense to just not do the split until you manage to catch the correct fish you need next? The resetting just seems like it adds tedium and nothing else lol

love your vids man. Animal crossing and pokemon are my favorite titles of all time. They both offer such great options for play throughs, ranging from extremely casual to shiny nuzlockes and stuff like this. Keep it up man. BTW I think new leaf is the best animal crossing ever and second is wild world, Black is my favorite pokemon ever but shining Pearl or omega ruby is second
