The question remains does RH keep the option of yellow or opt for something different "as bought" including the stamped license plate in the rear bumper.

Vin 001 on the car, not the plate. So this is it. 002 could be black, red, etc.

As usual so many ignorant people! The 3.6 is not MSRP...it is a going to charity and that along with having Vin 001 is why they bid so much. The new Tundru 001 sold for 700k...that's just how it is with first Vin cars! Vin 1 cars are not to be compared to just another car in the line up...they are collectors items! Also Rick Hendrick always orders his Vin 001 cars in black...this is a preproduction model!

They should free housing for in need veterans!! I’ve worked with refugees in Charlottesville VA and they give some homes, cars, medical, iPhones, cable, etc- just that for one family??? Yet, we have to have auctions with citizens money to help these warriors! Not right but thanks for beretta Jackson, great people!! Better to give than receive!!!

Every ounce goes to the charity unless it’s a separate bidding process for different companies and not only one everything goes to the charity Barrett Jackson doesn’t make anything off of this neither do you the check will be written directly to the company and or companies for charity

Base models Still selling 100k plus been out almost 4 years z06 is in high demand and will stay like that will sell out of dealers for 200k plus definitely 2024 might find one for 125-150k🤦🏽‍♂️

I like the long hood on the front engine Corvettes. I like smoother lines and it’s not a convertible. I didn’t like it at first but I got used to it. I do think it’s a good looking car. It’s just a lot different. It’s come a long way since 1953 but I think it does still look like a Corvette, not a Ferrari. I think Zora Arkus-Duntov would approve.

@@supersportjay1579 they're selling for that price because there's hardly any around chevy dealers. But check the msrp and its the c8 1lt is only 59,xxx thousand. When they release the "chips" back to the car factories, then all the cars will go back to msrp prices

Is actually really easy to understand. When you're worth 2 billion dollars, this is 100% a tax write off. He donated money to a charity, in return for that, he gets vin 00000001. It will never be for sale again, it goes straight to his museum. Msrp and resale, have 0 to do with what just happened.
