The scars upon my arms, Phantom pains, Phantom chains, Reminders of where I've been, Reminiscing with the Reaper, The memory keeper, Phantom pains, Phantom chains, The heavy hollowness of the past Weighs heavy now on my shoulders, Phantom pains, Phantom chains, Old mistakes slow the slogging, Lifting leg after leg, Trudging, drudging through life, Phantom pains, Phantom chains, Memories, reminders, Of how much stronger I am now. This is so relatable. I love it💕! I can't even get out of my bed because my body aches and every rush of though feels like someone punching me in the chest and telling me why I should give up. Btw, it's 7:30 am here and I am still trying to sleep. I love your poems.. keep writing and keep being the voice of many who fail to express their feelings. It’s 3:am and I can’t stop thinking about you, I keep on crying from our memories. It hurt to see you happier with someone else, it made me feel like I wasn’t the right friend for you. You said you missed me but left me again. Why do I keep on making things worse? Is it me or is it you? I wish I was better but I’m not, I wish I was the person you wanted like her, but I’m not. Can I use your some poems to represent my art on my art account which is on Instagram. It would be great , we can think about collaboration . I do make animated videos where the art(sketch, painting) can be use as puppet which can talk( say poems, tell stories). I'm waiting for your reply 😇.
