I'm here because I wanted to see if anyone was doing anything quite like I have started doing. I know drums are nothing new while playing guitar but cant find anyone doing what I just started doing. Mix of string slap, the thumb against the bass strings for the kchhh noise , and slapping the body during string slaps , while playing a rhythm while drumming on the strings kinda like your doing on the body of the guitar. Was trying to find my own percussive style and after searching the net I think I got one that sounds good. Better with a guitar thats piezo/mic pickups When I slap the strings it's a quick snapping motion that gets me bass and a string ring out . Once I nail it I will share if you would like to see. Hard to verbally explain
