Oh that’s a fair point-i think in my head i took her last scene as her being a Wallbreaker but that’s not necessarily the case. In any case I do think we’ll get more of the Wallbreakers and/or Trisolaris sympathizers conversing with each other to try to figure out the Wallfacers’ plans (and act as a sort of expository device for the viewers)

I hope we learn more about Tatiana's backstory, I think she's a very interesting addition

​​​​@@kwentonautactually, now that I think about it, even sending someone to do that risks too much because now that person knows enough to put the pieces together for themselves, and can be potentially captured and interrogated. Or if they're told to burn the house down without any idea of what they're targeting, there's no guarantee everything would be destroyed sufficiently, or potentially other records, with a now very strong indication that something there is relevant. The Trisolarans are not good at that kind of 3D chess and they know it, and they can't fully disclose their concerns to a human that might be able to put together a plan. There was a reason Luo Gi didn't have and could never have a wall breaker, the Trisolarans would never tell another human that information, and if someone loyal to the Trisolarans discovered it independently, they would be to told not to announce it.

@@kwentonaut something I think the show does, perhaps better than the books, is portray us as something terrifying to them in the same way the aliens from "Alien" are to us. We are a horrifying mockery of something beautiful and sacred to them, and phenomenally dangerous even with no (or vastly inferior) technology. In the books it's like there's a chess move we know and they don't, but in the show I think we get more of the visceral revulsion.

Reveal the plan or their identity? For the former, i think it’s less figuring out the plan and more the process of puzzling through. Just to the extent that the book reveals certain details through the narrator. For the latter, it would be in the VR world and maybe not necessarily showing their real form

I think having the wallfacers’ plans being unknown to the audience could be interesting as well, with the sleuthing of the wallbreakers serving as a way to reveal them to the audience gradually.

Saul/Luo Ji was chosen because of the assassination plot (he is the only human Trisolaris views as a threat), not the other way around

Given what we understand about it, It is the answer with the fewest moving parts. I do not need to know why I just need to know that the tri-solarans do not understand jokes. They do seem discussions behind closed doors. he seems awfully close to key players and is a logical person for the science angle.@@Malfehzan

I do have the feeling snowfield project will get combined with Ray diaz's project in the adaptation in some way.

I think the Chinese General will be Tyler, the Kurdish woman will fill Diaz's role, and Bill Hines will be omitted. I think the mental seal instead will be developed by Wade's people. This leaves his character easily omitted.

I agree, the Tencent version was great, the dumbed down, extra diversity, PC, American version wasn't it. I can't wait for the Chiense season 2, loved the characters, the science etc.

Totally disagree. My friends, who aren’t scientists, thought the show was deep and challenging - anything else would have been too much for the casuals.
