For those that want a more healthy option to mashed potatoes use cauliflower instead! I did it for Thanksgiving this year. Just break up a washed cauliflower into smaller parts, put it in boiling water for about 15 minutes, drain and mash. I add about 4 tablespoon of butter, a bit of salt, pepper and garlic powder. I added chopped chives to my mash caulifower dish! Rachel your show is cooking in real life! I'll be half way through a recipe and realized I missed a step or poured in the liquid all at once instead of following the directions. I provide endless humor for my husband when its my night to cook!!!

Rachel, just a trick for those that dont love kale. Massage the kale with the dressing and maybe the salt. It breaks it down a lil and makes it easier to eat. Enjoying your content a bunch!

Where did you get the idea that mashed potatoes aren't good for you? Okay, I know that people have the incorrect idea that cheese & bacon are not good for you, but not all nutritionists agree with that assessment. Check out Weston price/traditional cooking. It sounds SO YUMMY!
