It is an awesome one off guide for revealing the secret to master the piano without the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend finally got great success with it.

Excellent teaching instructions. I tried taking piano lessons when I was seven years old. We didn’t have a piano so I couldn’t practice. But my grandmother had one and she played by ear. She tried teaching me what she knew. Then when I went to my piano lesson I didn’t know my lesson and tried playing it by ear! Well that didn’t go over well. She said Marty you will never learn to play if you try playing by ear! I dropped out of lessons. I didn’t let her discourage me. I learned enough from the classes that I knew the c major cord. I learned to put “notes with them” that sounded good. I now play the piano but don’t read music. I listen to songs over and over until I memorize the tune. Then I set down and pick that tune out and play any thing I want. I’m 82 yrs old and never to old to learn. Your lesson today has been very educational to me in learning what cords are! God bless you for giving us knowledge about how to form cords that you can use to play songs. I’ve learned a lot from you this session! Bless you!

The major scale formula is W-W-H-W-W-W-H. This stands for whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, half step. You can for any major scale using this formula. Half steps and whole steps are the distance from one key to another. A half step is the distance from one key to the key that is closest to it.the Minor is W H W W H W W

A little theory to share: The formula to make up a major scale is WW 1/2 WWW 1/2 (W = whole Step | 1/2 half step). In order to learn your major, minor or any other scale you must learn the chromatic scale first. Chromatic scale are all the black and white notes on the keyboard. Chromatic scale are made up of (1/2) half steps : Chromatic Scale Ascending: C C# D D# EF F# G G# A A# BC . Chromatic scale Descending: C B Bb A Ab G Gb FE Eb D Db C Chromatic Scale Ascending/Descending: C C#/Db D D#/Eb EF F#/Gb G G#/Ab A A#/Bb BC. FYI ALL black keys have two notes each C Major scale: C(W) D (W) E(1/2) F(W) G(W) A(W) B(1/2) C. Now you can use the chromatic scale to build any major scale using the WW 1/2 WWW 1/2 formula. To build a D major scale... D E F# G A B C# D

Thanks! Or how we teach major scales: “Why Won’t He Wear White When Hot.” First letter lets you remember whole step or half step and people never forget it. And with minor scale, we love to say: “if you know your major scales, you already know your minor scales.” Any major scale starting and ending on 6th tone gives you another minor scale. All major scales create a relative minor scale. Easy work and they never forget. C major = same notes as A minor (starting and ending on A, the 6th tone).
