Nice video as always! Is the first movement useful in doubles as well?

Thanks Aditi 😀. Yes very useful for doubels specially when your opponent has hit a flat lift. All these apply to doubles in the right situation.

Great information learnt a lot.. but the problem is how can I do a directional split jump when I don't know where my opponent will hit in a match what I want to learn is how to change direction quickly after doing a neutral split jump can u make a video on that..

For the boom stick, you mention Arc step as the second step. What's the reasoning behind that movement, is it as simple as you want to turn with your non racket side towards the shuttle or is it more to it? Thanks for the great videos!
@JacobsBadminton
@JacobsBadminton Жыл бұрын
Fredrik, this is so your fully side on so you can rotate for maximum power as you can now put your whole body into the shot. I would say if you don’t have time to get side on you shouldn’t be using this movement but doing the chassis jump out instead. Hope that makes sense.
