So true!! About a decade or so ago, my friend was walking the roughly three blocks from the gym to her apartment, at about 9am one morning. As soon as she left the gym, she started feeling as though a man was following her. Every time she looked back, he was getting closer and closer. She said there was just something about him that was off, but she didn't want to confront him, or ask passers bye for help, because she felt silly doing it, and since he happened to be a man of color, she was afraid of seeming prejudice. Eventually, she turned the corner, entered her building's foyer, then proceeded to try and quickly get her keys out. Unfortunately, just as she was looking into her purse, the man barged in behind her, knocking her to the ground. He then jumped on top of her, and tried to pull her pants down. Thankfully they were tight yoga pants, so that proved difficult, resulting in major scratches all over her torso. After about a minute or two of this, she managed to grab her travel coffee mug, which she refilled right before she left the gym. After a few hard hits to his head, the cup opened up, spilling HOT coffee all over him. At that point he decided it wasn't worth the hassle, and ran away. When the cops got there, she mentioned that she had a feeling about him, but for reasons I mentioned above, she just tried to ignore it. Well, after she stated that, one of the officers said, something along the lines of, "ALWAYS trust your gut, because in my experience, 9 times out of 10, the feeling is correct, and it's better to be safe than sorry. You can always apologize after the fact if you're wrong. Your safety/survival is far more important than someone else's hurt feelings." Needless to say, she was way more attentive when she was walking alone, day or night, and made sure to relay the cop's advice to as many people as she could. Thankfully it didn't happen again, but unfortunately, the man was never caught. Can't even begin to image how terrifying an experience that must have been for her!?!?

1. You have a decent voice for this stuff. 2. No cheap jump scares or surprise high-volume tricks to make people jump. It makes it so I can get invested in the story without constantly bracing for an adrenaline rush that I don't want when I'm just trying to relax and hear something cool. So kudos there. 3. There's just something about these stories that makes them so relatable and able to place yourself in the situation. Truly terrifying because you force it all to happen through imagination. Love it.

that second story reminded me of a time when i went to a skating rink with my friend cuz it was her bday and it was great, a new movie for the purge came out and the rink was themed around that, sometimes the rink would go dark and you would have to hide from this guy with a purge mask on, all was well, and we felt pretty badass because we were doing something on our own, both of us were very sheltered kids so it was a big thing for no adults to be around. Well, come nighttime, when the store was closing and the rink was silent, we decided to wait outside for her mom to pick us up. We were asked by staff to exit so they could clean and close up, so we decided to walk around in the parking lot a bit not too terribly far from the entrance. And thats when we saw this car come up, we thought it was for one of the co workers because if the way it pulled in, so we kept walking, in the opposite direction. The car followed us in the parking lot, albeit sneakily, I remember at one point its headlights shone right on us, and that it was increasing speed, and when i realized the front door was locked and there was no one in the front area to see us, thats when me and my friend booked it, we ran out of the headlights view and into a ditch by the main road, i don’t know why, we could’ve just banged on the door or something, but we were 13 and fight or flight kicked in, but the car slowed as if it was seeking, and drove out of the parking lot and onto the main road. After that we went back and knocked (smart idea right) and they let us in, but not without shutting the lights off and cutting the music, and that same masked guy u ran from jumpscared us thru the glass lmfao. After waiting for a bit, her mom arrived. I didn’t know at the time but kidnappings were increasingly common in that area and it makes me wonder if i was just paranoid or if sone creep wanted to ruin a life…

@@Spiralredd well I say that because everyone who sends a story to mr nightmare, are fans. To have that many true stories just can’t be plausible to me, in my own opinion I’d say maybe only 20% are true. There’s no way to prove any of them are true just because someone says it so I always take them with a grain of salt. Edit: like me, I’m gonna probably write a story and submit it to him but I’ll have to say it’s true when it’s really not. He gets probably a thousand stories everyday so it’ll prob never see the light of day.

My sister used to be home alone in holidays and sometimes she used to wake up as someone slapped her from sleep and tells everyone when we got to home.we both heard knockings at our front door but no one was there. I grew up in a haunted house and have had some terrifying expirences there. When I moved out for college, the paranormal experiences got worse and eventually everything came to a head. It took me too long to understand what was happening was paranormal. I made a few videos about it on my channel if youre interested.

I used to watch Celebrity Ghost Stories until I had heard all them a few times. The one that stuck with me was by the actor who played Anthony on Designing Women. When he was a young boy, he was awakened by a man at his bedroom window, scratching on the screen asking to be let in. He was really a ghost of a man who led a boy away and drowned him in a nearby river years earlier. Hearing someone call to me from outside my window would be so scary, my aFib might kick in!

Little tips for whenever you guys ever get scared: 1) Sing/Listen to music 2) Watch a Movie 3) Hangout with a pet (or just be around a pet) 4) If you’re ever watching a horror film - just think about behind the scenes 5) If you know there will be a jump scare - look at the corner of the screen 6) Know it’s not real (obviously this tip may not work on everything because some things (like this☝️) are real but if you know it’s not real then this tip can be very helpful) Hope these helped 🙂
