Rirang is a true champion for doing this, i am very impressed! A couple of hints for anyone contemplating doing this for real: 1. Make the inner roof of your shelter as smooth as possible so melt-water runs along the walls and doesn't drip on you, your clothes and your sleep system. 2. Dig a trench about 50 cm deep near the entrance. This acts as a cold sink and allows your snow cave to be a little bit warmer. 3. Keep your drinking water close to your body to prevent it freezing into ice. 4. Stay dry! 5. Don't consume alcohol. It lowers your core temperature without you noticing. Good luck with your snow cave adventure, it is a really rewarding experience.

I think that bottle of Jack would have been finished after the swim if it was me. Gotta love a crazy lady that goes camping in a snow cave.
