He says hand flapping until two years of age can be normal...if the child is still flapping after two years of age along with tightened limbs or straining face or when not excited then you should bring him or her to evaluation.

Babies may flap their hands or arms because they are excited or happy. Since they do not yet have the verbal skills to express their emotions, flapping is a physical way to show how they're feeling.❤😊

hello my daughter is turning 4yrs old and still she has hand flapping sometimes. she is currently now have therapy "Comprehensive behavioral speech therapy " is it normal her hand flapping?but she is not diagnose Autism

Can you please translate what he said?😞 I’m so scared for my son and can’t get him into the doctor for a couple weeks. Just what he says about what the difference is between normal and abnormal hand flapping? My son is opening and closing his fingers when he gets stressed/excited/upset. Not flapping his entire hand like he did in the video. Did he say anything about that? I would really really appreciate, from one worried parent to another.

@@lolo-nn4vm According to doctor, Hand flapping is normal until 24 months. That solely cant be concluded as any LO is in the ASD spectrum. Even Beyond 24 months the hand flapping needs to be significantly frequent to mark it as red flag. Doctor bases his opinion on the fact that the kids brain are still developing. as we all know by now LO grow at different pace. My LO was 17 months when i saw this now its hand flapping is no existent. So don't stress much internet can drive you nuts over these stuff. We had our share. One thing helped us was reducing screen time.

Sir my son started hand flapping at age of 9. He was quite normal till 5 yr age. Though had weird obsessions with fan and other rotating toys. But no complain from school ever. But after 6 yr old we noticed weird and inappropriateness. I take him to therapy now, his school has stopped completely. Can autism start so late?

This should be a case study of how being works in person but not for video. I understood the English and then bam all the sudden I didn't understand the Hindi. Videos should only be done in one language unless it's a language learning video.

@@lolo-nn4vm he is saying in hindi(indian)... That sometimes hand flapping is normal... And with hand flapping also more symtoms will show baby...
