In 1969 I was a junior in high school. I started working in a grocery store and my first check went to a Three Dog Night 8 track tape. I had to wait to play it because my 8 track tape player was still in layaway! Good for you Chuck, you beat the odds with God's help!

Lost my son to fentanyl laced heroin five years ago. I was not a Three Dog Night fan while I was growing up in the 60's but I always loved their song Easy To Be Hard. I was listening to it just the other day on my MP3 player and it was like the song took on a whole new dimension. Everything in this song is perfect: Chuck's amazing voice and the feeling he puts into it, the message, that awesome Hammond organ.

@@bunnybubs757 , they mention something about "eight years later" in reference to his sobriety, which I think was 1990 or '91. That mostly checks out with the book of his I read called "Three Dog Nightmare". Might be difficult to find, it came out 20 or more years ago, but if you can find it, it's a good read. So anyway, yeah, he looks great here, and would've been in about his early to mid '50s.

Love these guys , Went through a lot of Lighters cheering them on . Great beat on the drums and whils each voice was neat and distinct , Man they had Harmony :) QC

Go get 'em Chuck. I guess you showed everyone now. To hell and back how many times. And now you're on the only road left in life. I commend you. Many folks out there can learn a thing or two from you. God bless you always.
