The day after our 15 year anniversary, February 16th my little girl called me crying, and dad hurry up and come home I need you, mom just died! 4 kids seen her die at home in front of them, and I wasn't here! I miss her so much, and I loved her much, much more. This song means the world to me!

My friend. I know your pain only too well. My wife died on Christmas day after 17 years of the best life anyone could ask for. I had to witness my best friend take her last breath and what a helpless feeling. Her last words were "im scared. Please don't leave. " As if. Its the only comfort I get knowing that she wanted me there and I gave that to her. I know you wish you had been there but trust me, she knows. Sounds like your relationship was much as ours was so she knows your heart and wouldn't want you to have any regrets. I have 1 and its my life sentence to carry forever. I didn't have the courage to let her be mad at me and didn't force her to go to the hospital the day before we died. No, its not a typo or spell check error. We both died that night. I hope you find peace and comfort and maybe through music we can. God bless.

I think of my son who died in 2003 when I listen to this song. I often wonder if the artists who wire and preform think of how much impact their music has on others and the different interpretations people have of lyrics. Not that they would ever see this but; Thank you for sharing your gift and helping to deal with the pain of losing my child.

The thing about the guitarist is you can tell the lyrics and the tempo was written first. The guitarist literally wrote every note to the song rather than just an average riff.

That Random Dude., more and more "singers" across more and more genres are using auto tune because they know that no one gives a shit about raw talent anymore, because as long as they are charismatic and have strong stage presence people (mostly teenagers and young adults) will flock to their concerts regardless.
