Yes in MIchigan here is does great in the sun. I speak to if it would be the same for our southern friends.

When you have a very large pot and have to replace the soil do you use all new soil or is there something you can use as a filler?

I always use new soil. There could be bugs, disease and no nutrients in the old soil.

Heidi, when you plant the spillers, do you put them in the soil diagonally? So they lean over the side? Thank you so much. Also the last planter, is that for full sun like the first one?

It depends on what I use. Most of the plants spill and fill. The last planter is a sun option.
