This is a only better version of witches strike. Not a lot of cards actually will trigger the activation requirements. For example, ash blossom negates the effect but not the activation. Same goes for imperm or haunted mansion. Notable cards that would actually trigger this card are the solemn cards and barrone. This would kinda be a very specific card that only hurts cards that have been losing meta relevance regardless.

@@yuseihimself witches strike does actually have a better effect but this is more versatile and can at least be activated from hand which means you dont set it. its also a free level 4 summon from deck/ a free S/T search. Genuinely dont know why the other 2 effects are so weak tho, youre jever taking a single card draw over a free search/summon from deck. Honestly after looking at this card again witches strike may actually be better tho because it clears board and hand which 99% of the time just wins. I feel like its telling tho that even witches strike may actually be better than this. Also i have no idea why this card would need a once per duel clause, this doesnt even require a once per turn

⁠@@trhtdjgtjdtj8469 Firstly, the battle effect was in regards to if your declared attack was negated, you can try again, while the draw 1 was since draw effects tend to always be powerful, although it DOES pale compared to the free searches… The “weakness” in the other 2 effects and the once per duel were just me trying to exercise some self-restraint for once, try not to make the card too powerful like I tend to do with a good few of my other retrains… So with your feedback in mind… _NEGATE _*_THIS!_* Counter Trap _This card’s activation cannot be negated or responded to, and also, You can pay half your LP to activate this card from your hand. It can. But it depends, the game has some rules... Like if your opponent activates polymerization, you can't negate that summon with certain cards (like Evilswarm Roach) because it was summoned with a spell effect, in that case polymerization, and not summoned "normally". "inherent summon" is the world if you want to search more about.
