The scene where Farhan convince his father to become a photographer, i can relate to that part...coz i never had the guts to convince my father that i want to be a musician (i play drums, congo bongo and other membrane instruments) and ended up completing my B.Tech; i can not control my tears and they roll down my cheek everytime at that very scene whenever i watch that movie...

This trailer is misleading. This isn’t a silly movie. It’s the best movie ever made and most Indians would agree. U should start watching Indian movies with this one. This is the best !!

It has a very very strong message regarding our old education system and how we can reform it. The frame of the movie is of bit comedy but u have to watch the movie to know the whole story because the trailer barely showed anything. And one more thing, this movie earned way more than Avatar!

The film came in 2009 and even after 10 years people haven't stopped loving it. I have watched it numerous times but it never gets old. Amazing movie, great performances and it is nothing like dumb and dumber. Watch it if you want to watch something unforgettable.

Guys this movie (3 idiots) is said to be one of the greatest movies ever made in India. Don't go on the trailer. It's not just a comedy. Trailers pre 2010 were like this. And another recommendation will be 'Kahaani 2012' check it out!

This is a really really good movie..speaks a lot about the expectations of Indian parents and society in terms of what kind of education degrees should one pursue and the pressure that is put on these kids.. it has a comic undertone but is most definitely not a comedy or a goofy movie.. has a lot of beautiful moments and teaches us a lot about life.. beautiful music numbers as well.. you guys should try watching it.. Also, you guys are really fun..enjoying watching your reactions more and more..

The movie is about three college friends and how they grow as people. It’s about more than just the fun they have at college. It’s about fitting stereotypes. Meeting expectations. Finding courage to live your dream. It’s quite inspiring actually. Very well made, really funny, very touching. You’ll cry as much as you’ll laugh. It’s a lovely movie. I wish it showed through the trailer but the movie has a lot more depth than was portrayed in the trailer.

Usually Indian movies are not of one genre, this one is comedy movie with few messages for the public and few emotional scenes as well. And there are 3-4 musicals in every Indian movie you watch, it has been a part of Indian movies since the beginning (1950s - 60s).

America's highest grossing film was Avatar. This film grossed about 76 times more than Avatar. It is in no way similar to Dumb and Dumber. This about life and achievement, about happiness in your career, and how a different viewpoint to education is needed.
