About Me -
After a difficult life-changing event almost twenty years ago, the thought of other families having to suffer in any manner, even remotely similar to how my family suffered, affected me in a profound way. I chose to leave New York, which I called home for thirty-one years, and set out to start a family and build my firm in North Carolina. My passion for almost twenty years has been to help the families in my community plan for the worst day of their own lives and to also help their families through the worst days in their lives. Estate Planning and Probate have been the specific and purposeful focus of my career.
I was named one of the 50 Most Influential Women by the Mecklenburg Times and was awarded Elite Attorney Honoree for Women with Know How Making an Impact Award. I was also named by Business Leaders as one of the Top 50 Entrepreneurs and my blog was voted by LexisNexis as one of the top 25 Blogs on Estate Planning and Probate.
LexisNexis, a leading legal platform, commissioned me to write a manual regarding my unique ways of how I structured my law firm to assist clients with Estate Planning.
However, still, my most significant honor was when I was sworn in to practice before the United States Supreme Court and had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand before all the Justices in the United States Supreme Court.
On weekends I will likely be found on the soccer field watching my mid-fielder play soccer…a sport I also grew up with, being raised in an Italian family. I enjoy cooking, playing the piano, or simply spending time with my family.
