3-Ingredient Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet

Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet 🍓🍋🍨 Just 3 ingredients & served up in the cutest lemon half for an easy summer treat that we can’t get enough of. (You can also freeze it in a normal container but it’s not as fun 😉)
RECIPE:
(6-8 servings)
5 cups frozen strawberries
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 cup agave or honey
Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth. This may take a few minutes since the strawberries are frozen. Stop to scrape down the sides in between blending to make sure everything is incorporated.
Enjoy right away for a soft serve/smoothie bowl style, or scoop into lemon halves (after removing the fruit and pith) or a freezer container and freeze until set (about 3 hours). #strawberry #lemonade #lemon

My mom made this growing up as well as banana flavored. She hated buying juice, ice cream, candy, chocolate etc bc shes from Ecuador and always said the processed food here makes her feel ill. She would make a juice for the week (pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, or lemon) and it never lasted a week in our house 3 days tops and we would have to drink water until Sunday when she made juice again. I miss that.

Hii! If you don’t have a fancy blender how I use it is I 1 add 6-8 strawberries 2 add a little bit of lemon just enough so it is up to the very bottom of the strawberry’s 3 blend (it should look like it’s not working so don’t worry!) 4 add a little bit of water 5 blend again 6 put in a few small cups and freeze for 1 hour 7 mix and freeze for 1 more hour

Just made this last night! Came out pretty good. A few things I'll do differently next time I make it: -Only fill the food processor halfway, blending the fruit in batches -taste the puree before adding lemon juice or honey, mine probably didnt need it -i froze mine solid without checking it at all, if you freeze yours solid you should scrape it up with a fork every few hours or it will be too hard to scoop

This also works with watermelon! I also added as well as substituted with lime juice and added a bit of salt at the end for a sorta watermelon margarita flavor!

Posettes are the perfect summer dinner party dessert that needs very littke prep time and looks super cute. I like orange, mango or lemon/cherry or just plain lemon is always classic. The key is to add some hiney, agave or stevia if you want less sugar. If your going to make lemon or lime just make sure to blend the fruit into a juice and puor into ice cubes to freeze in adavce. Do NOT just cut the lemons in half and freeze them because when you go to blend them, the frozen stones will be very hard on your blades and can even break your blender. I learned this the hard way.

Made this with my bestie a few weeks ago! We used lemon extract instead of fresh lemon juice. It's very refreshing. I've been wanting to make it again, but it's difficult to find organic strawberries.
