I recently put a bunch of different coloured jelly beans in a glass bowl and back lit it . The effects from the lights colours and contours were amazing . The possibilities with macro are endless and exciting to explore .

I think the alien "tadpoles" are tiny particles of the substrate the plant is growing in. The leaf picked them up when working through the soil.

Hi Andrew - I am no green thumb but the black spots on leaves can be one of these: Sooty mold (sugary substance left behind by feeding aphids), powdery mildew (usually has white & grey specks), black spot (fungus), leaf spot, black smut, dirt, aphid waste, and more.

depth of field is making the difference between the 50mm and 100mm lens.. i have question.. why you choose led light insteed of speedlight for this shoot? can you explain that on next macro video pleas.. thanks in advance 🌹
