Disadvantage of filter is if it's a low quality glass, no matter how good is your lens, it will ruin its performance. Like my Chinese variable ND turns my L glass into blurry garbage. Extender just shifts your plain of focus, so you can shoot your subject point blank :D

He said this in another video. Its just because back in the days, the lowest iso for him was 200 so he just kinda got stuck with that going digital. But he did mention you could use iso 100. In studio shoot i set it too on iso 200 just so that i can be more flexible with my aperture setting.

It depends on the situation. Whenever i shoot street photography on a bright day, i keep my ISO lowest. But when i shoot indoor like say portraits, i keep it 200 or 400 just so i can move aperture from f4 to f8 in group wothout adjusting the flash power (which is a hassle) just based on experience

That's why he advised to keep the flash sensor exposed so it could easily catch your trigger

Close up filter is like a magnifying glass to your lens. Extension tube shifts your focal point, so you can focus point blank to the subject or with a bit of effort have plane of focus even inside your lens. I use extension tubes, coz then you avoid extra glass which can reflect on image quality.

D7100 or 7200 are quite cheap 2nd hand

You can easily buy 7 year old DSLR with a kit lens and make great images. Expensive camera doesn't make your images better. Expensive glass does :D

@@noahh_p24 keep in mind glass all depends on what exactly you're shooting. I for example love everything, so I'm trying to get all kinds of glass I can get)) As for cameras I use mainly 80D and 200D, often with the cheapest kit. Good enough unless I have something special in mind. Just for fun I also use 350D and film EOS 300V sometimes. Even tho I can buy R5, or 1DX3, I just don't need so much performance. Rather have another L lens.

That’s why I’m thinking about getting the 18-35 or 55mm. But I’ll have to see what I’m really into right now to decide. Currently I’m using the 2000d but only with a kit lens.
