3 Months of Work in Just 1 Day? Off Grid Living
Instead of doing manual work, we decided to use a tractor to clear our abandoned land in Spain. What a right decision! This was a huge milestone for our Eridu Life project as we managed to do 3 months of work in just 1 day.
I think for the first time in over 100 years the terraces were cleared of the bushes. Now the olive trees will breathe, as there is plenty of space for them. Our quest to live a simple, self-sustainable life continues

Hello there. I know what you mean. Sometimes is difficult to see a clear vision of the future before overcoming some initial challenges. Will be posting contents slowly for now “once a month”, as we are not living in the Finca yet, but soon will be moving permanently there, and hope to be adding content weekly. All the best :)

Hello there. Finally I am starting to make progress with the videos. I did change the company that I am working here in the UK, so will have a little bit of more free time on the weekends, so will take this time to upload new videos and to update the blog. Hola. Nunca me gustó este sistema opresor en el que vivimos. En 2018 comencé a sentir una fuerte necesidad de cambio, pero entendí en ese momento qué tipo de llamada era. Justo después del fraude de 2020, esto me quedó claro. Si tú también sientes esta necesidad de cambio, mi consejo es: ¡Sigue la llamada! Nuestro terreno es de 11.000 metros cuadrados y pagamos algo menos de 20.000 euros. Gracias por ver.

Hello! I am planning to buy a plot of land near the town of Gandessa and want to start agroforestry and permaculture. I'm looking for friends who support the same concepts in sustainable agriculture. Can you tell me how much it cost to work with a tractor on your plot of land and on what area the work was done? I’m just a foreigner and I noticed a certain property of communication with the local population, when the locals see that you are a foreigner, they automatically think that you should pay more for all services.

Hello Andrew. We are not so far from Gandessa. Tractor work cost between 200€ to 300€ per hour. Yes, for foreign the fee is higher. Piece of advice, before buying the land, sort out your NIE and bank account. Otherwise you will be paying a lot of extra fees. Good luck on your endeavour :)

I have already applied for a NIE with a notary in Mola la Nova, as I understand it, my next step is to reserve a notary’s bank account and there I can then transfer funds from the Bank of Ireland using the SEPA system. Or should I better open an account at the Bank of Spain and transfer funds there and pay the notary's bill with him?@@eridulife

I can only talk about my experience, and I would choose the second one. And I would do the whole thing though a gestoria. This will avoid delays and headaches
