Would love a video on bedsharing! I love her perspective and knowing a lot of the things I shouldn’t be doing according to everyone, are actually ok.

As the mama of a 5 month old, thank you for this video! Reinforced everything that my intuition has been telling me ❤️ Yes to a video on bedsharing! It's great to see light being shed on safe bedsharing. Such a wonderful option that many parents don't even consider due to the stigma, as you said.

I started bed sharing because my husband had to go back to work and my baby would not sleep on his own. He needed to feel me next to him. Everyone kept warning me against bed sharing but I was so desperate for more than an hour or two of sleep that I gave in and looked up the safest way to bed share. We finally started sleeping 8-9 hours at night and it was such a relief for our family. We were all more rested and my husband and I were able to be better parents after we started bed sharing. For me it was so natural and I hope that more information can be shared on safe ways to bed share!

Thank you for this. I have a 2 month old waking up every 2 hours at night. And I go back to work in one week :( I have watched many vids about baby sleep and did feel bad about myself for not being able to implement a successful schedule like the KZfaq moms or that my baby isn’t responding like there’s do. I love the acknowledgment of giving moms a break and that there isn’t just one way to do things or one way your baby should be.

This made me feel SO MUCH BETTER. I have a 3 month old who is a cat napper & wakes up for cuddles at night. I felt so much shame for rocking my babes to sleep & not sleep training… so thank you!

My baby wouldn’t nap unless we rocked him to sleep, he was a cat napper also. He needed to be rocked to sleep up until 6.5 months. My sister was visiting me and told me she did “cry it out”because that’s what everyone told her to do. She had her kids 15 years before me. My sister told me that I was doing the right thing and that she wished she had held her girls and cherished the moments that she could rock them to sleep. Those words made all my shame melt away. She’s in the difficult teenage years with her girls now where they don’t want to be around mom and dad so I really felt for her in that moment. Now that my 13 month old sleeps on his own, I find myself missing those days where I would rock him to sleep and just stare at his sweet little face. ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing this information To both of you! We are currently sleep deprived from a 1 month old exclusively breastfed baby that wakes up every 1 to 2 hours every night! I feel like not sleeping has me cranky all day and I have little patience for my 6 year old daughter or my husband. I’ll be checking out Paula’s IG for more support in this 😊

Thank you two so much for taking the shame away. At the beginning of the week, I was stressed because my baby girl was not getting any sleep and was tired. With your advice, my daughter has slept well for the last two days. I think things will be ok! I have nursed her to sleep, and she is sleeping well, and I have stopped trying to put her to sleep every hour because now that she is four months, she can last two hours and sleep well. I stop trying to let her cry it out or trying not to rock her. I rock and nurse her to sleep, and she sleeps just fine for about 1-2 hours. If she-cats naps, then I am ok with that too. Omg, I am so thankful for this channel and this information. I had to figure out what’s best for mom and baby, and you two permitted me not to follow what is best for others and helped me see what’s best for us is doing what my baby likes.

This is the best video about baby sleep I've seen. I wish I would've seen this when I had my first baby, instead of reading those books that told me to put my baby on a schedule, or else they would never learn to sleep properly.😴

I NEEDED THIS! I was just talking to my mom about the shaming I feel from friends/family/resources about nursing to sleep, the fact that my son isn’t a “good sleeper” and that I’m teaching him “bad habits” and causing him to suffer because I won’t sleep train him! I love this so much and needed to hear all of it! It resonates with all my instincts that society makes me constantly second guess. Please! More information/myths!!! Thank you!

Was literally texting with my wife about this video while 1) I was watching it (while I do some cleaning) and 2) she was giving our little one a meal to put her down for the night. But mija was struggling to go to sleep! It’s all good, she’s going down now but I was talking to her about the content here . Thanks so much for this! We’ve been wondering about and problem-solving with issues surrounding our little one’s sleep. This will be very helpful for us!

Loved this content! I'm about to have baby #3 and am much more relaxed then I have ever been as a mama. This info that every child is different is so true and so important! I'd love to see a second video like this.

Thanks for this video! I have a 2 month old and he doesn't sleep like my other children did. He sleeps in our bed, as did my other kids. Everyone is already asking if he is sleeping through the night....and they are surprised when I'm like no....sleep definitely isn't one size fits all

Seconding that I would love a video on bedsharing. My husband and I did a lot of research into doing it safely, but our pediatrician will not hear it and keeps pressuring and trying to guilt trip us out of it. /= Tips on how to transition out of it would be appreciated as well, because I know I can't sleep train my little one.

I think we should follow the sleep circadian rhythm. If baby don’t adapt to this overtime then I do find it troubling in my opinion. I would look at babies healthy habits.. nutrition and naps during the day. I believe babies/children should be experiencing normal deep sleep at night. One thing I know that could negatively effect babies sleep is a plant base diet. That alone would destroy babies sleep pattern.
