I questioned myself about unisex toilets in my local hospital back in the nineties when we had been in hospital with my son since birth and many go stays and use the ladies toilets and I had not noticed that they had changed the sign on the doors to show the female and male in black symbolism and I was in a toilet cubicle when a man came into the next cubicle to come out of the toilet when I was washing my hands and still putting his pencil away and look at me in the mirror. They were introducing mixed wards of male and female patients. This was the NHS in England. The same thing happened with the town leisure centre and the change rooms for the swimming pool was cubicles and a single shower and community showers with mobile phones and up skirting phones used under the cubicles to understand the situation
