For many of you, the Nissan Magnite will not be worth the hassle. Here are three reasons why.
First, the refinement levels. The three-cylinder turbo petrol feels noisy and clattery at startup. It does get smoother and quieter as you get going but not enough. The cabin needed more insulation for it to feel as good as it looks. As of now, it will feel tiring over longer distances.
Second, that cabin experience. Yes, it looks good and is practical but it feels noisy. Aside from the engine, there are creaks and rattles from the plastic. So it ends up feeling flimsy even though it is not.
Third, the service network. Nissans' reach across the country is limited so buying a Magnite comes down to having a good dealer near you.

Dude it's cheaper than a VW Polo, bigger, comes with Turbo and high enough ground clearance to make gravel roads an ease. If you understand the value and not expect more than you paid for, you'll be impressed at its bang for buck. It's also more reliable than a VW and ima buy the little suv for my mother.😊

It's a good car for me ! I have 4 members in the family and my mom is clostrophobic so the ac is used occasionally 😂 in this price point you will never get a good sub compact suv / crossover so its fine for me

The engine is extremely smooth and silent..The CVT version is the best in this , no car gives a CVT at this price point..Superb cabin space..No one comes close to the magnite in terms of appearance and value for money..

As soon as the AC is turned on the engine dies😂. My friends magnite was sitting ideal for hardly 3-4 minutes under sun with AC and engine on and all the passengers were complaining of heating inside the cabin. The engine without AC is fine but still performance needs a lot more improvement. As an alternative my tata punch proved to be an excellent alternative and it was cheaper too !! I drove my puch up hill on 3rd gear with AC on and it was gliding ! So happy with my punch😁

Using NA engine since last 2.3 years and overall good vfm product. But completely agree with your critics. Quality of some parts could have been better. Got seat belt problem but not replaced by company, customer service needs to be better !

Let me be honest. Yes there are some cabin noises from dashboard or something, after you have been to bad roads for a good time, but you go to service centre and they'll fix it to a good extent. Engine is fine till 120kmph, after that too much noise. But still a far more comfortable car, a total value for money

I have been driving the CVT (top variant) Turbo Magnite for about a month and have done 1000km. Its a decent car as a daily commuter and beater. Quite practical and spacious and very convenient. Nissan has done a good job with ergonomics and space packaging. However, some quality issues are evident. On rumble strips and uneven surfaces, something inside the doors rattle and creak. The brakes make some noise when you start it up first thing in the morning. Other than these issues, The CVT performance and comfort have been very good.

@@motorinc God. Why are we as a nation so obsessed with sunroofs? It’s an absolutely useless feature that adds nothing to the car’s experience and everything + more to the price and our pockets. Only kind of sunroofs that can logically be appreciated are panoramic, and still they’re not that much of a value addition. We need to get over this obsession, and demand more practical & useful stuff like heated/cooled seats. With the kind of climate we have, that can actually be useful to buyers than getting loads of dust into our cars thru’ the sunroofs.

If you want the car not to rattle then buy the car in India and take it to Japan. Drive it on their roads, where the car was designed. It will run butter smooth and give you 30 kmpl mileage. 😂😂😂

As someone who started loving cars because of Nissan X-Trail T31 2.0 Diesel MT, it breaks my haert to see what Nissan India is Doing these days, So much Potential yet nothing they need turnaround like VW2.0 dont just make India centric cars sell good stuff less in numbers is fine there is still a queue outside skoda to buy kodiaq, I dont want to see mitsubishi happening with them, and if you call it suv offer awd or 4x4 on emand versions for those intrested will sure buy it. idk why if you want to make a small suv you are trying to compress big SUVs you must take inspiration From Fiat Panda cute little car and quite capable for its size

When I was taking test drives, kiger felt like a Bullock cart😂, magnite can have some occasional noises from dashboard or something but it can be fixed, they add stuff there. Yes I bought magnite. It's good overall, engine feels noisy after 120kmph

I recently purchased a nissan turbo cvt. And I must say the engine performance is up there with the greatest I've driven yet. Apart from that, agree with your three points. Depends on what you're looking in the car. I mostly look for performance.

Hi, I'm from Pune. Bought Magnite black NA a year back. Completed 8800 km to be precise. As you could read all the positive comments in the section, trust me it is the best car and as we all call it the bold and beautiful product by Nissan. Issue with them is that they couldn't market it properly. Due for service at 10k. Done trip to Goa with full luggage and with 4 adults and 3 kids. Didn't faced a single issue. If you are speed enthusiast go for turbo. But I play with its RPM to get the best mileage and non aspirated is enough for my daily use. Would definitely say, go for the beauty. Especially the black. It's a head Turner for sure. Regards Digambar

I’m confused between Magnite Top model vs Brezza Zxi.. all these videos make me want to go for Magnite but I’m worried about Nissan’s future in India :( Brezza ka driving experience is not as great as Magnite, but overall it’s reliable and Maruti will be here in the future for sure.. but CVT is a clear winner for me when comparing both the AT models.. any thoughts??

@@BBOYBhargava Fronx has a width of 1765mm, which is spacious enough for 3 mid sized people in the rear seat. (Some cars from a segment above like Taigun and Kushaq have a width of 1760mm) Rear headroom is a concern for people above 5ft10 in, however, you ll have more knee room than brezza and magnite due to it's longer wheelbase. Bootspace 318 or something, not the best but not the worst either.

No. While they are based on the same platform, there is a lot of difference in the way they ride, handle as well as their cabin comfort levels.

World's Best cars and brands failed in India it means what!!? All experts Can give plenty of reasons for debate. In India all kinds of potential car buyers are available And India is also the biggest car market like China or the USA. Nissan has a very strong presence in the Global market and doesn't care about the Indian market. For them this is TOYS 🧸 of budget segment and its not a real NISSAN cars. Not selling all models in Indian market because of many reasons. If anyone wants to see real NISSAN cars, then they can come here to USA Florida where I live since last 12 years and I can take you to experience what real NISSAN cars mean.

Indian buyer never respect good cars thats why comapnys are movong out from india, in this price what you can expect. This is the lowest price compact suv. Ford gone, toyota is now colebrate with maruti so orignal toyota feel is gone below 25lakh cars.
