As a Tudor watch owner I can say that yes…. They are bulky, austere, simple, heavy, unrefined and sometimes their wrist presence is felt throughout the day … but exactly for these reasons (and ofc other positive ones 😂) I love them! ❤

No waiting list on the Harrods BB at the moment!!! Visited today to get on the waiting list and they are holding a huge bulk stock! Obviously walked away with one and I’m super happy. Yes it’s an absolute chunk however, having presence isn’t a bad thing when it looks as good as it does! Get yourselves to Harrods!

I have a Harrods BB, it’s beautiful. One need not travel to the UK if one has relatives or friends there, they could pick it up for you. The way I received mine. The newer ones now come with a bi-color lume, Blue indices, Green hands, confirmed with another September 2022 owner . ✌🏼

Another great video, thanks. The simplicity and subtlety of Tudor designs is what draws me to their watches. Far from looking sterile, under-designed or cheap, their design language gives them a timeless look -- they will age with grace. Unlike too many watches currently in the market, they are not overdone, or in any way blingy-flashy, which gives them a quiet tool watch classiness that most other brands lack. When Tudor uses color, they remain consistent to their design language by using earth-tones (unless reaching back to the 70's for inspiration), coming up with shades of blue, green and red that seem to have been pulled directly from the ground, from an individual plant, or the Mediterranean Sea -- as you said, they exude a warmth -- a palette that one might see in 17th Century Dutch paintings. Size-wise, I definitely do agree that, beyond their BB58 line, their watches are too chunky, especially too tall, at least for my 17cm wrist, while the size of the 58s is pure perfection. With the cases and bracelets, I imagine that Big Daddy Rolex carefully modulates Tudor's "elegance factor" in order to differentiate the brands, to draw a distinction between them for a variety of reasons -- to avoid redundancy, justify the price points, etc. If the Tudor attributes are troubling to a buyer, Rolex is there to make it all better, so long as you have the $$$ and, unless you're Roger Federer, the patience.

I have this watch and I love it. It was no hassle to buy as I live in the UK and my call from Harrods luckily came just before I was due to visit London anyway. I also own the no date submariner, and I can say that I prefer the Harrods Tudor. It just looks nicer.

I’ve owned my Harrods edition for little over two years now and you make some great points that I can only agree with! Owning the Harrods edition has def been worth the hassle of the waiting list and the physical pick up - which indeed adds to the emotional value. My Harrods has had way more wrist time than I ever imagined as it has become my daily beater!

I thinnk you are right, it is too thick but I see it as a first iteration as they perfected the design with the BB58 later on .

I literally got the BB58 online, thought it was too small, returned it and got the Black Bay 41mm, thought it was too chunky, and went for the BB58 again. 🙄 btw, I love the your GMT on the Forstner jubilee bracelet. I bought one for my BB58 and I think too many people criticize buying an aftermarket bracelet when some watches look great aesthetically but don’t have great bracelets.

Well, now I just bought one ON LINE on the Harrods website and will be delivered this week! What does that mean? There will be a NEW Harrods watch. I disagree about the McDonald’s watch comparison. Bark & Jack channel shows the new automated Tudor factory. I expect better things from them!

More like a Turd(or) than a Tudor to me. My Doxa Sub 300t has 1200m wr, 14mm height (without a vertical slab on the case), 46 lug to lug, looks better and costs half of this BB.
