In this video, I go over 3 reasons why you think she's out of your league. Not WHY she's out of your league, but why you THINK she is. I recently watched the film "She's Out Of My League" and I know it's just a movie, but it still had some truthful things to say. Thank you all for watching and let me know in the comments if you've seen this movie.

I won't lie, one of the worst habits I have is I'll look at an attractive woman and think "no way she's single" so I don't even try. Smh.

Even if she replies she has somebody, you should stay a bit longer to probe her a bit. Is she saying this because she doesn't find you attractive and wants you to get lost? Or maybe she's just messing with you to see if you give up immediately or not. Hard to tell at face value. :P If she drops this info out of nowhere, you can easily deflect the question and mess with her for a change. Makes you instantly better than most of other guys who ever approached her with a Simp Lord attitude.

@@masterexploder9668 Nah, it's not a good aproach at all. If she lies about having a boyfriend then that's already a red flag right there because it means she's childish and likes to play games. It's also another red flag because she lied in general and showed dishonesty when she could have just said she's not interested and keep it moving. grown ass men aint got time for that bullshit. If a woman is into u then she will say yes to hanging out with u or something or she will say no if she's not into u. A mature woman will not play games like that. If she plays games then she's a little girl and hasn't grown the fuck up yet. Also I am not saying this just to go after one gender specifically. Guys play games too and it's not cool. If ur into someone just be upfront about it. Actual mature people don't have time to play childish games. This isn't kindergarten. This is life and our time needs to be spent wisely.

This is exactly the approach that has tossed me into many pits of depression. You don't need others to know you are doing badly in a time trial in Mario Kart. The best I can seem to do instead is to try to let go of even competing versus myself and simply do it. Try to find enjoyment no matter how I do. Let go where I can, and invest less in the outcome. Staying motivated becomes a whole different trick though.

Loving yourself is no guarantee that you'll get the women you're attracted to though. In reality most women won't date men less wealthy and/or successful than themselves. They're also looking to get the "best deal", so even if you're the equal or better than them in terms of the material measuring stick, you're still less attractive than a man who's better off than you.
@SirMysticRob
@SirMysticRob 2 жыл бұрын
@@namayake that is usually reality since reality is rarely ideal, but it's also true that before someone should seek a relationship, they really should learn to love themselves first. It makes it easier to have confidence and overflow with good intent when in a relationship, instead of always needing vs giving. For quick dating, it won't matter, but it really does for long friendships and committed partners

@Courtney Ryan The best advice I have for guys to date out of our league. 1.Maximize your look(fashion/body) 2. Get your financials together. 3. Find people with your interest and date the woman you find most attractive from there. Like I’m interested in art, so I’m able to date women who are artist that would be out of my league etc. 4. Be able to teach her something women are interested in. Like I have a buddy who’s a yoga instructor who does really well even though he’s not good looking.

When society, "friends", and everyone else has told you for years you're not good enough, you end up believing it yourself. So later on in life you tell yourself why even bother trying when it comes to even approaching someone special. People don't realize the things they do and say stick with people and can cause problems down the road. The girl maybe "out of our league" so to speak but it would be nice if we stopped telling ourselves that and our friends that. Tell them no they're not and go for it! Build up your friends and those around you.

@Marsonic Your anger may be clouding your voice of reason. Its more of a philosophical way of thinking then believing " That's not how life works ". Obviously you can't just think you deserve something and that's enough to obtain it. It's more about believing you can achieve the things you want in life by first believing you deserve them then working towards obtaining them. Hopefully your current situation improves, good luck to you!

one of the most important things you can do to combat this feeling of someone being out of your league, is by boosting your confidence. and contrary to what people may initially think, confidence doesnt come outta thin air from you just telling yourself to be confident, it comes from the satisfactory feeling you get when you put in work to improve yourself each and every day to become the best you possible. consider it as being similar to “hoping you did enough to pass a test and being uneasy of the results because you guessed the answers” vs “knowing you aced the test because you studied well and knew the answers like the back of your hand.”

Absolutely enjoy hearing your thoughts on not only this movie but on many of the topics you talk about in your videos. Your down to earth approach and honest insights into developing a relationship is so nice to hear. Unfortunately so many of us carry with us damage to our confidences and self esteem that date way back to our childhood. Boys, and girls for that matter, seem to learn by their interaction and socializing with others their "shall I say not so true" place in life's lottery. This continues to be reinforced by the often times cruel treatment that goes on between the sexes as puberty and the onset of adulthood sets in. We don't seem to have "life coaches" for all the times we face rejection, failure, or setbacks during those tough times growing up and end up trying to figure everything out on our own. So it should not be surprising that by the time one is in their 20's either a person has figured out how they perceive they are seen by the rest of society or if they are lucky enough to have developed into a more heathy and confident person. Your comments about the interaction between the two main characters was spot on. I did feel that Alice Eve's character was initially interested in him because he was safe and she didn't think she would get hurt be him but then ended up felling for him. Of course both main characters were influenced by their friends, and not in a positive way, much like we are sometimes influenced by what our friends think about how we should live our own lives. I am a little surprised that nobody has seemed to mention it, or if they did I didn't read it yet and that is the a conversion between Stainer's (sp?) and his old girlfriend at the food court late in the movie. The line by Stainer's ex-girlfriend that went something like " Its not that you weren't good enough for me, you were plenty good enough, its you weren't good enough for yourself" was a powerful line to think about. It resonates so much with what you are trying to convey in your videos and what we, at least myself need to continue to remind ourselves of. Please continue your thoughtful work on your videos. You offer a fresh and positive insight into helping us grow. Thank you! P.S Love the Sinn 556i.

Courtney, another great topic to break down. Many women consider it a curse, having amazing looks, as it gives off the ideas you just mentioned, and they actually have a hard time attracting a quality man. Women are not to be feared, just go up to one you find interesting and just act natural. She'll either find you bold for trying, or say no. She also didn't mind about his fitness. Only he did. You may not be in control of your wants and emotions, but you can always be in control of being considerate, which includes remembering that others might see the world in a different way. All you said was true, I just decided myself that I wasn’t going to bother with very attractive women. So I immediately skip over women that are too* attractive because of the likelihood that they turn out to be narcissistic and also I work very hard to build my self esteem so have it be torn down just because I accidentally knocked on the door of a narcissist is not fair at all. So I decided that as long as a woman has certain personal traits that I was going to ignore most of her shortcomings in the beauty department. It’s still hard because life beats you down when you find yourself trying to date out of your league and encounter all of these jackassess and narcissists throughout your life. It’s one thing to beat yourself down but ultimately it all comes from one or a few bad experiences you had with someone that thought too highly of themselves in comparison to you.

Courtney is so right, it's more important what's in a person's heart and mind than what the top surface 2mm of skin looks like! Not always but sometimes physically beautiful people know they're attractive to others and so don't always work on themselves or their personality and rely on the looks. Having said that, there's also many people who are beautiful on the inside as well as the outside and probably get tired of suitors just approaching them for their looks. If you can't connect with someone or they're just shallow, it doesn't matter how good looking they are, it will be ultimately disappointing. Look with the soul, not with the eyes!

A girl who I have been friends with on and off for almost 10 years now recently told me that she was very in love with me and just got over me. She apparently didn't want to confess because she assumed that I obviously wouldn't want her back. I've known her since I was 9 and I always thought she was wayyy out of my league. At one point I liked her too but I didn't think it would go anywhere. I'm just here because I want to process wtf happened ahahah. I don't want to start anything because I have to go back to university after winter break but I need to know if she is still into me. I feel like I'm just starting puberty again ahahah.

I am one of these guys.....having totally given up on dating at 35. I've just realized over the past few years that whatever it is that women want, I just don't have. I'm never going to be the guy that makes six figures, is 6 feet tall, and has a six pack. I'm the guy that will treat a woman with respect and dignity, but then we get friend zoned cause "we are too nice" or "you're just like a brother to me." Your advice is great, and I love the content. I really do. But some people (like myself) are just meant to be alone.

I saw that movie too. You are so right about insecurities being made up stories and rackets in our head that are created. If someone grows up with either low or no self esteem about how they look and think that they are unattractive then all of a sudden lots of people find them attractive at one time, what a change that does for someone's self image. That happened to me when I was 16. The first 15 years of my life I always thought I wasn't very good looking then when I was 16 I met lots of girls in the new town that my family moved to who thought I was good looking. At first I didn't believe it or have any self confidence about my appearance but the more girls flirted with me at school the more I believed it. Unfortunately I was like alot of women that need validation from others before they believe that they are pretty. For me being a guy though it was the other way around. I know that most guys have to find their self image improvements on their own though without the help of girls flirting with them to tell them that though so I felt lucky. Sometimes unfortunately I let this attention go to my head though.

This will be a tough comment. While we all can amount to the best version of ourselves make no mistake, you do not control outcomes. Ideally, you will attract what you deserve. However, today's modern pitfalls are loaded with girls aged 18-35 who will undoubtedly overthink, lose feelings or worse abondon you based on what she wants. In my 35 yrs on this planet take it from me, your only shot at real happiness is your purpose, mission, life's ambition. Once you center her in your world you are a goner. She is there to add value NOT revolve around it.

And the whole time I thought I wasn’t good enough for them! Go for it guys! Otherwise you’ll look back with regret at all the missed opportunities. Also, Courtney didn’t you say in another video that you thought this movie wasn’t realistic and that the two main characters wouldn’t have worked out in real life? Many people treat rejections as credit application that was denied (and reflects on your credit score for a while). Meaning every time you approach someone and get rejected, it's not "you don't have anything to lose" - you lose confidence, possibly respect with friends, possibly reputation.
