@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer I just haven’t ever got enough bytes or resources, i used to play with my friend for weeks but his game randomly always crashed and wouldnt work, so progression has been hard

Captain Scraptain is, indeed, a mighty contraption. Do keep in mind, though, that there are more efficient ways to fit all that stuff on a rover. I just threw that together for an example.

Are you on console? Someone else said they had this issue on console and I don’t recall having it on PC.

nevermind i fixed it i just stayed on the surface so i could see what i was mining and i wasnt on flat ground so it didnt print into the storage

If you're trying to get the printers to autocraft, there is a blue button under the normal craft button that makes them loop their crafting process forever as long as they have what they need to craft the item you put on loop. I've heard others say that this design sometimes crafts the items onto the ground, though. I didn't have that issue when I was testing, but I didn't test it for a very long time.

I might need to remake this video. It wasn't the best setup to being with in hindsight.

It probably got stuck in the ground when the planet rendered back in. I would check the caves directly under where you left it, and if it's not there, I would dig under where it was and see if it's in the ground.

Yeah I probably should’ve tested that for longer before including it.

I believe there is a blue button with revolving arrows you can push to make it loop an item to craft just like with other platforms.

You must put a canister on the filter slot of the auto arm so it only picks up canisters.

@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer I dont play astroneer anymore more now. but il add this. when I did play I did use the correct filter for the auto arm and it still didn't work properly. ateast it did for the first few minutes but then it went horribly

@@treydannash3220 Perhaps this is buggier than I though.

Couple things you can try. Make sure the shredder is open/powered(you can usually see the red teeth inside), and that it doesn't already have a full scrap piece sitting on it's output, that will prevent it from processing further. If you're feeding it the small soil canisters by hand, there is a sweet spot that "locks" the item to the mouth of the shredder so long as all the previous conditions are met. So to recap, 1) Sitting on a platform that has power. (Look for visible red teeth) 2) no scrap waiting to be picked up at the output, pull it off if so. 3) the disappeared items are likely "no-clipping" into your shredder and are retrievable to try again. Move the item around the mouth of the shredder until it "jumps" into place. Looking down on the shredder from above is what works best for me. **Good** **luck** 👍

@@worldclassjerk-epicgamer yea I just typically drill a circle and get the leveling completely screwed.... then say screw it and dig a new tunnel up. Drilling controls for the ps4 are aggravating.

Honestly, I don't remember exactly what I did for this video. It's likely I forgot, or perhaps I just suck at making rovers work out well.
