He's about the only thing that can pick me up again when I am on the floor with depression, anxiety and rock-bottom self-worth. He's just amazing.

i remember watching this when it was posted and the whole thing he went on about about loving yourself, the line "once you love yourself, loving everything else is easy" and generally just that whole part of this video was kind of my kick-start into actually wanting to learn how to just. love myself. struggling with mental illness is hard, and it's been years, but i'd say without a single doubt that i've grown a lot and learned a lot about myself sice then. i think i really needed to hear this all again because i've been in kind of a swamp mentally the last few months and this video is having the same effect as last time. thank you.

I love the message that jack gives in this video about not worrying about being perfect, I agree, just try your best in life and strive for what you believe in, make your dreams come true and never give up, but don't try to be perfect at life, just try to have fun with it.

What I've come to learn and appreciate from watching these videos is that for all the horror and thriller games, TV shows and films out there, mental health troubles can be the most terrifying things that someone could ever face. But on the flip side, Jacksepticeye's take on these demons is just beautiful. I can't really describe it any better than that ❤️

Your little speech on "Perfection" is absolutely spot-on. It's like when you're younger and you draw or paint a beautiful picture. In that time, you can look at that picture and think "Wow, this is perfect! The best picture I've ever drawn". And then a few years later you look at it and say "Ugh, that's awful" and redraw it with your gained experience then, think "There, much better", then the process might repeat in a few more years. That can also pertain to your interests. As a kid, you might've liked to draw fairies and now you might think thats childish and draw dresses instead. Or if you like to write, you can look back and easily pick out grammar or subjects that now make you cringe. I personally am an artist, and one of the things I commonly deal with when I'm drawing is reminding myself that it really doesn't need to be perfect. If I linger on something too much trying to "perfect" it, then I'll never get get it done. It's natural to evolve and mature, growing out of and gaining imperfections. It shows that you're alive.

absolutely love jack's take on life here with imperfection and self love. its something i went thru my self and only wen i am truely ok with myself am i comfortable to go back out in the world. and ive been telling other to learn to love urself first but it always came of "easy for u to say" "ur just saying tht" 'thts so basic" but i hope they all realise tht i truely meant it and its smth not easy but the journey and struggle is worth it

It is December 11, 2021 and I just so happened to stumble upon this video when I needed it the most. Perfection is overrated, but so many people want to achieve it. I myself, wanted to achieve perfection this year. I had a baby back in April of this year and I have hated my body. I have been beating myself up because of my mom bod. Pushing myself to the point of tearing my self-esteem down. I've branded my mind into thinking my body is disgusting, when really, it was the home for my baby for 9 months. Now, to most people, that means nothing. To mothers, that's pretty damn amazing. Our bodies are built to home a small human. What is perfection to me? I was a temple for my baby boy. That's perfect enough for me. Jack, you are one of my favorite youtubers, and your thoughts and words behind "perfection" lit a fire underneath of me to push myself in a positive way. Instead of tearing myself down.

Disney's Recess taught me that even if you're perfect, people will hate you for being perfect, because whatever they feel makes them special, you're overshadowing them in that aspect which will make them feel worse. It's not the perfect guy's fault for being perfect, & it's not anyone's fault for feeling the way they feel. it's depressing to think you're not good at anything.
