I’ve talked about how important it is to warm up before any activity, and today we’ll cover some warm-up exercises to help prepare your dog for a workout! Warming up your dog is a VITAL and often MISSED part of your dog’s sporting career. Research shows that warm-ups help:
- Reduce susceptibility to strain a muscle, tendon, or ligament
- Improve the muscle’s range of motion
- Increase heart and breathing rate
- Increase blood circulation and blood flow to the muscles and ligaments AND MORE!
