One question, focusing on output isn't worrying about end results?

@vetonrecica55584 жыл бұрын
@@maxharlan2565 When I watch Sinbads videos on my laptop I mostly use the standard notepad, when I watch it on my phone i take my notebook and write it down. After I wrote everything down, I start reading it thoroughly so I actually remember it, then I reread it every couple of days . As for implementing those lessons I usually do that for College or home chores and do an analysis of what I did right that day. Alot of times I'm not 100% consistent so to me I treat the lessons I learned as practice.

Loved this book. My favorite part of it was the chapter on beware of these traps 😬 When you begin to do so good you start to be arrogant and it teaches you how to stay humble and not feel superior to others around you if you're better than them at a specific task or have a higher paying position 🤓

Back again, second watch (yes, I have no life as of the current days) I really appreciate your self awareness around how to rate your own skills as well a commitment to do better. Deep down, I know I am mediocre, and as an Indian coming from a country full of talent who misses opportunities, I always felt as if my own creativity doesn't deserve expression. My parents also dissuade me from pursuing creative goals and the older I get and the more quality music I am exposed to, the lesser my will to create something, or share it with the world. How could I dare share anything, the world doesn't care, and I don't matter and it makes me sad. Your videos are inspiring, thank you for doing this, thank you.

I'm trying to emulate WillNE's editing. He has a peculiar style that I love and I want to incorporate humor and contructive tips into one. I'm starting small with Instagram 1m vids,so I can get used to the editing,and once this "output" has been reached I'll shoot for 9-10min videos on KZfaq. In the meantime hustling as a freelance artist is almost a must for me,not only to earn some money but to get better at this craft. Those tips really helped me I feel like,I'll always be a fan of yours❤

@balancemode22284 жыл бұрын
Awesome. Balance is also extraordinarily important. Goals: long-term, mid-term, and short term, with daily actionable steps. And then operating from a schedule/calendar, with focus blocks, kind of like the pomodoro technique, but slightly modified (for instance it can be a 2 hour block, then a break, not only 25-minute with 5-minute breaks). Then within these blocks over time you can work on focusing better and achieving more productivity/efficiency. Also key to me as mentioned with balance has been including blocks for other things that you may otherwise put off, even if they are not directly related to long-term goals, such as cleaning the house or small times for recreation, and even blocks for journaling and reflecting on exactly where you are in the process. Clear mind with efficient bursts of work. Thanks for the reminder, and I think what you're saying fits in line beautifully with what I have going on.

Love watching your videos every Sunday and Wednesday (but especially Sundays) but my favorites were when they weren’t as scripted and you spoke with so much passion (like the one about the pygmalion effect), because although it was random and out of your typical setting, that level of passion was really what got me excited about the topic of the video, not as much the content of the video itself :)
@jayk33434 жыл бұрын
I love your content Capt Sinbad, but it's also highlighting key concerning societal matters I've noticed and other commentators Ive heard mention, incl Russel Brand and Charles Eisenstein to name a few. Many westernised and developing societies due to the growth/capitalist model, emphasis is heavily placed on competition and out performing others, but this I feel is in direct confliction with our innate tribal roots of cohesion thru team work for a collective outcome e.g. to meet the primal needs of the tribe, thus everyone has a role and is needed by their family/community. Thus, I think this confliction is partly (greatly so in my opinion) giving rise to the concerning issues of not feeling good enough, stress to be better, self esteem and confidence issues, isolation, loneliness, anxiety and more serious issues if these core underlying innate needs are not met in some meaningful way. As we strive to thrive (in many cases survive) not only are set forced to compete, we also often leave our community/city for education and/or employment, further separating us from our family, friends and community, which in some cases may work out well, but many cases not so. I would love to hear your thoughts about this. 🙏🏼💛🙏🏼
