Just imagine from the first story. You get so tired from driving so much that you hallucinate a random person. Then you go into the interview and the interviewer is that same person you hallucinated before. I would have done the same thing that person did. That's super creepy.

And this is precisely why I say it is perfectly okay to be paranoid. I have been told many times that I can't live my life being paranoid but if I was the lady in the last story and some creepy dude at the bar was telling me about some shady motel, I'm not gonna go to that shady motel. I'm going to go to a different motels that's further away that the dude didn't suggest because now you have some creepy dude that knows where you're at

Not surprising. She ran back to her room after getting the Wi-Fi info - she wasn’t looking at the ground then because she wasn’t suspecting anything. And she barely made it to that motel; how much farther would she have been able to drive? Hindsight is always 20/20. I’ve lived a long life in a huge city, and I’ve also done a lot of traveling, and I’ve never needed a gun to protect myself. Being smart saves one from a ton of trouble, but there’s always a little bit of luck involved as well.

I guess it depends, but it does happen. I have been up for 30 hours a couple times and didn't hallucinate. I felt very weird though. It is not good for the brain that's for sure. Here's an interesting thought, we as humans go to sleep to stave off going clinically insane😁. All we can do is reset the timer though before drifting back into delirium.

The mysterious man appearing over and over again is so creepy. I'll definitely be more cautious when driving at night now. Getting your tire slashed and narrowly avoiding potential danger is terrifying. Night drives already make me uneasy, but hallucinating a strange man inside your car is next level scary! I used to think stopping at cheap motels on road trips was no big deal, but after hearing about the possible intruder, I'm rethinking that. Staying alert on solitary drives and being wary of strangers is good advice based on these creepy true stories.

I've heard a few Mr. Nightmare stories involving cheap hotels and intruders, and I'm very wary of them now. There was one story (can't remember which video) where the guy heard noises from the adjacent room and went over to see the TV on and then saw a note or something and ran out. That one was pretty good. And I think one of his earliest stories was about a motel worker getting chased by these two creepy older guys. I consider that one a classic.

The man most likely didn't slash the tires. He probably saw he had a flat, but the guy got in too fast for him to say anything. He followed him, because he knew it would blow. When it did, he offered help, but was accused by a raving, paranoid lunatic instead. Your biggest issues from cheap motels will be hookers, junkies, and bedbugs. Go to a nicer one every time. It will spare you a lot of problems if you just spend more.

These night drive stories (along with trucker and hitchhiker stories that take place at night) are the best. Oh so many eerie things can happen on a lonely stretch of road in the wee hours ...

Story #2. Anyone else listen to a story like this, and just can’t believe how an “adult”, who says she’s a school teacher, can actually think the way this persons thinks, and act in such a child like manner with every thought she has? Is this how young “adults” actually think these days? Is this behavior really considered “normal” these days? If so, wow how times have changed!

Been listening to Mr Nightmare since I was a kid, I remember hiding under the covers or closing my eyes when I was younger due to being too scared to continue the video. I don't do that anymore but I still miss the old days, the younger me, always being scared shtless just by being 10 seconds into one of these videos. Will continue watching until the day you stop uploading like Don't Turn Around. Been a supporter since day1 and will be a supporter until the last day.

I don't know if there are any older sources but Mr Nightmare is fantastic. I've been seeing lots of similarly structured pages with different narrators. I'm assuming they're Copycats, but none have this normal, calming, down to earth voice, and most if not all have inferior visuals as well.. Thank you for phenomenal work, Mr. N!

With the first story, I wonder if it was his subconcious telling him to pull over and sleep before he got in an accident and hurt someone. I've had hallucinations of hearing or seeing sirens when getting to my car the day after a night out and I swear it's my subconcious warning me I'm still not safe to drive yet. Could also be the shadow men, they're a very common hallucination when you're extremely fatigued.
