Affinity Photo for iPad is a very powerful app. It has most of the functionality of the desktop version but much of it is hidden away. Most of the tutorials on KZfaq talk about the desktop version so I’m going to demonstrate how those same things can be done a little differently on the iPad version.

Embedding was really cool! so If I want to add light leaks, would this be a great way of saving them into a folder for later use?

Gee Steven, I was really surprised to see your latest tutorial. I have been waiting to see you do something with Onone. Did you abandon it? If so alot of Onone users are sad, they were great. Your photos of the western U.S. really sung to me. Thanks, David Ellis

David, thank you for your comment. I’m not using On1 right now mainly because I don’t have a fully functional computer. The one I have is dying and, because I’m on the road living and traveling in Europe, I’ve slimmed down my kit to an iPad and iPhone. I’ve been using Lightroom Mobile for storage and RAW processing and Affinity Photo for the more creative stuff. I’m going to take a look at the new ON1 360 and see if it’s something that will work for me. But without a laptop I can only take stuff to a very basic level with ON1 right now.

This software is strictly not for beginners, it is for advanced users of professional editing software. If you are a little slow at picking things up like me please avoid and stick to simple apps on your phone and tablet, it will just lead to emense frustration like it has for me. Also these video tutorials are not geared towards beginners either, they are geared towards experienced users.
