@@frazze2260 I am stuck at Plat 1 & I have 60hz Monitor But most of the Enemies I get They 1 tap me before I even react Maybe because they have better Hertz Monitor or FPS coz I play in Dubai Server

Counter strafing doesn't actually work in valorant, so if you do want to just stop immediately, you can just let go of your movement keys and you'll be instantly accurate. However, moving side to side is a good strategy, but watch a video on like deadzoning, which is kinda the same thing, but adjusted slightly because Valorant has different mechanics (slightly) to CSGO or CS2. Good vid tho, I aint being toxic or anything, just adding to what u said!😀

You will, in fact, NOT be instantly accurate. For the longest time I took this to heart and didn't use counter-stratfing. Over time I noticed that while my crosshair was 100% on target, my bullets were not landing 80% of the time when I just let go of movement and shoot immediately after. I turned on my shooting graph, and whaddaya know, blue bars. The "problem" was that I was firing too soon after letting go of movement. But it's exactly what I wanna do. Counter strafing was the instant fix to that. Anyone who says the 50 or so millisecond overhead is negligible is flat out lying. Yes, counter-strafing is more prominent in CS-GO, but to say it has ZERO effect in Valorant? A lie.

@@Darksightkellar that mean u doing something wrong. I have try tapping and release D key then start 1 tapping with vandal 10 time in row. 100% accuracy ( Orange shooting error ). So yeah u don't need counter strafe. It's either your ping ( cuz this is my issue on why i keep getting blue line sometime ) or u just shoot way too early

This is a placebo effect counterstrafing is pointless. Dont waste time learning it.

@@SS6_LuluLulu Again, what you have tried doesn't change reality. The reality is that there is a non-zero time period after which you let go of movement during which your character continues to slide. Whether you FEEL that that time is negligible or not is irrelevant. Others including me FEEL otherwise. The number is more than 0, ergo, not instant. No one is saying everyone MUST learn to counterstrafe. But everyone saying NO ONE should counterstrafe is a liar. At best you don't know wtf you're talking about.

Bot flick hard, long range practice bots, dm, tdm, in match and more. All orange with no counter strafe. If u want i can even record and show it to you. Here me out i got almost 3k hours in csgo and have been counter strafing for 1k in valor. I know what im talking about and if u comfortable with using counter strafing just keep using it. NO ONE CARE. Also, u misunderstood. Everyone said to not learn counter strafe because it's hard to learn and master especially for low elo player/newbies. So, stop wasting your time and just go learn easier mechanics which is just stop pressing da button. If u already learn/master counter strafing like me just go on use it. If u already plat and above, idk why u are here. U should already learned all the game mechanics u need to know.

I’ve always been high bronze low silver in this game, but I’ve never had aim problems since I’ve been higher ranks in other games. After using this and getting used to movement I’m already in gold 3 and climbing

Counter strafing isn’t necessary in valorant like it is in cs:go. When you let go of your movement key your character practically stops instantly so counter strafing is pretty useless 🤷🏽‍♂️

ive put myself in each of these situations and its more luck than skill, i noted down throughout 10 unrated games how many times i died using each swing/tip, around 66.24% of the times id swing/hold an angle using micro movements, and quick peaks+wide swinging/double stepping, regardless of the angle i swing/hold, 66.24% of the time i still got 1 tapped. If ur just thinking 'oh man, thats usually high rank lobbies' this was in s1 lobbies, any other tips or am i just an unlucky guy? Dang near every tips n tricks vid got the same advice but it hardly ever works until around end game when theyre not really expecting certain swings but 90% of the time theyre usually holding the angle at perfect pre aim distance to predict my movement and i get 1 tapped or they just flick to my head regardless of my swing method. Id also like to learn how to flash because i dont find it useful when most the time i do flash, theyre either expecting it and dont get flashed, or i just unfortunately get 1 tapped even tho theyre blind or theyll spray their full mag making it a waste of a flash and unswingable

micro movements, jiggling and strafing is so bs without really good gear, I often ask the enemy player "was i moving when you shot me" they always respond with "no" every time.

@@bow-_- yes, that's server delay and with that high ping + lower hz than the enemy things are happening in their end faster than on your end,m. so by the time you start moving you're standing still on their end

WAIT SO when counter strafing you don't need to release the previous key???? (Ex: peeking with A, then releasing A to instantly press D and shooting) cause that's how I always have done it since cs

5:05 you dont have to tap the opposite direction key… just let go of the movement key

The point of tapping the opposite direction is to stop your momentum inmediatly, reducing your shot innacuracy an instant before than letting go of the movement key

It's real, but insignificant The time between moving and not when you just let go of the key is low BUT you CAN use counter strafing to really make sure you're not moving instead of waiting for an invisible timer that being said, p sure this guy is just baiting comments and interactions by saying "false" info to get all the armchair warriors on board its personal preference in the end

I instantly get one tapped by gold demons if I peek like the video tells me. I have to do crazy sh*t to throw off their aim like jiggling, peek instant crouch, jump peek or if I'm an agent with mobility use their mobility to have more speed. If I just peek using a or d keys I get one tapped instant.
