I didn't seek a wife. I sought God and talked with Him about what I wanted. I poured out my heart and was realistic with my situation and who I am, what my heart was telling me. I wasn't trying to be the "good Christian," but rather I was trying to give my desire to God and let Him mold me and change me. Just days after that, He told me He was already working on it. I had already met her but didn't see it because He had hid us from each other by the circumstances.

Point One: We are not to "obsess". Obsessing over something means it is turning into a type of idol, which as Believers, we are not to do. Don't force yourself on using methods like online dating. A lot of bad things happened to me during the time I tried it. I was deceived by a person even when I have good intentions. It is traumatizing. I talk with a lot of women with intentions that shocked me. Women prostituting themselves. Young college girls asking for sponsorship and other messed up things I couldn't even imagine at first. Thank god for showing me the wrong people so God can guide me on who is good for me.

I am from India,a village and last year from may I started to learn english and now I can speak and understand,and I read all new testament and laws 5 book of the Bible,and few more chapter.and I knew jesus and now this great channel ,i can't not explain how helpful is this.

This was so detailed, helpful but also to the point. The last point about accepting that the last person wasn’t the one was big for me. It’s been a year and 9 months since my ex and I split up. I barely accepted that he wasn’t the one. I can’t believe it took that long to accept it. The crazy part is that recently I felt the desire to get married. I always feared it before. God has been working on me these last 21 months. I know I’ll meet my God-ordained spouse when the time is right. I just have to be open-minded! 😊 🙏

I think also, on the point about finding your spouse after you stopped looking; it has to do with surrendering our will and preferences to God, and Him acting while we obey. Yes, we should be involved and work hard, but in surrendering to His will all along the way is where He can truly work, and when we'll be more ready.

Ive never done online dating and I don't deny that it could definitely be how God leads a person to their spouse. The reason I have never (and never will) done this is because I think it attracts serial daters; where people are disposable and they can swipe left, or whatever it is that they do. I imagine that after enough times of doing this you may foster the mindset that someone needs to live up to unreasonable expectations or you're just on to the next one. It seems very unnatural to me.

I try online dating and it’s not for me, the people that I’ve come across claim to be a child of God But really don’t have a relationship with Christ, What Am doing is developing myself in Christ , work on fulfilling my true destiny and purpose if marriage is for me God will send the one.

This video is interesting. That’s exactly how I been feeling lately. I’m starting to believe that the person I’m waiting for doesn’t even exist. It’s rare if I see a Christian single that I would be interested in and I get ask out a lot by guys who are non-christians which obviously the answer would be no because I don’t want to be in unequally yoke relationship and I already learned my lesson to not get involve with a guy who is not Christian, so I’m just going continue to do my own thing and focused on myself and grow my relationship with God especially with the times we are living it’s obviously that we’re living in the last days.

I don't know if she's the one. Saw her online randomly and it took me so hard after seeing her passion was about Christ. I consider myself a very passionate person but on two different contexts and I am passionate on God but my other passion draws me away from God. Before I actually saw her, I was on a process of surrendering my deep desires and give it up for the glory of Lord Jesus Christ. I communicated to her but there's no certainty if we will exchange conversations, our lives are too different and the distance is too great but with this God has drawn me more near Him and trust Him fully. I'm not sure if God really affirmed my prayers about the situation by seeing your videos sir about Boaz's godly and biblical pursuit of Ruth. Hi Mark, I live in The Netherlands and last year January I met my nowadays partner from Lima, Peru via Christian Dating. I come from a half Indonesian roots, 55 yrs.old, a divorced mother with an almost 21 yrs old daughter, who is still living with me. The most unorthodox way in looking for a man was via online dating. But quickly this man was asking me to stop continueing online dating and continue for personal contact. So I did, because it felt right. Oct. 2022 I booked my direct flight ticket and I flew to him for a 3-weeks observation holiday. We like eachother evenmore and he brought the best out of me by following God in a Christian way. He is the first man, who is doing this. And this life experience is blessed. And I am very careful with this man, because God had put him in my heart. The only thing I have to do is "Believe and have Faith", that this relationship is for the best And Will last. And during our busy LIFE schedule, we are willing to give this a chance. Life is short I agree but God can change people. I have helped a homeless Cherokee/ mulato for 5 years. She to was an addict after her husband died in her arms from cancer and left her homeless. How do I work on my past wounds when I can’t really find anything on the topic of what I’m struggling with? It’s been an awful time for both me and my boyfriend because of my pst trauma. All of this used to not bother me so much but then he game along and it’s been an emotional roller coaster because all of my childhood trauma is coming up. I did find a book on the trauma I’ve been through but it’s more of a spiritual book and I’m looking for a Christian book. 😕🤷‍♀️

I dont agree with the point that if you meet the same amount of people face-to-face, you would have met the same amount of bad people. Cause meeting face-to-face avoided many unwanted lies and fake information by spontaneous conversation + body language. It's much more challenging to lie and make a fake story to a person in front of you without much preparation when you can take your time to reply via online apps.

Probably you should exchange "unorthodox" to "unconventional", I think that was the point you wanted to make. I think there are too many people who watch movies or read romance books and think that is how the spark is struck. I think the most romantic story in the Bible is the story of Boaz and Ruth. But for most people, it just might come down to two people who have similar goals and aspirations that meet, share their goals, and develop a partnership that becomes a marriage. It's not realistic to think your romance will be like a movie or a Bronte novel.
