"The older I get, the most precious life becomes" really hit me hard. When my partner recently passed minimalism helped me or is helping me get thru my healing process. Before I always felt that having more is better but know I've realized that having less and having a more intentional life is more bearable for me. Thank you for reminding us how beautiful minimalism is,

Videos like this are so helpful to romanticize a long term minimalist life. Sometimes I get restless and want to buy or change my home or closet (especially because everything in media encourages that). Pieces like this help me zoom out and appreciate the beauty of having very little. Thank you. 🖤

Minimalism or living with less has made me comfortable with the pace I’ve set for myself. No rat race or chasing the latest whatever because X said so. Or because I’m X age and should be doing/have accomplished this already.

I have taken on minalmalism on a life style. My family has never been on board except my daughter who has a big heart and gave a lot of her clothing to charity. I love her heart .But at the same time, she is a semi - hoarder of lil notebooks, playing cards ect .

It has changed my life for the better. I can't even watch the videos of the ppl glimg to homegoods and buying junk , big lots , marshalls , that's the big thing now. I'm so glad I've changed, and do greatful for what we do have.

I like the idea of minimalism. My husband's and my upstairs of our home is tidy and pretty minimalist ( unlike our downstairs which we are working on). I really like having less inventory to care for, but I do have to say, it is important to have some art and color around. It makes your space feel full of life without being high maintenance. I think people get hung up on minimalism not being their thing because they see Spartan style bare walls and only neutrals, which can feel hollow and emotionless. It does not have to be like that. Put up wild wall paper and a few pieces of art. Your space will feel lively and still be low maintenance!

Minalism has changed my life so much , in psychological ways , I never realized how my brain felt so cluttered as I have severe anxiety at times and add and my adult kids the two youngest both have severe adhd. It literally takes me minutes to clean a room fir daily cleaning instead of hours. MAYBE 15 min for each room for a quick daily pick up .I agree with everything you say .Better for the planet ect .I still like to keep some decor up but very minimal .

Beautiful video. I think a vlog of refilling your bulk food could be cool. Or a vlog of you grocery shopping and what it's like grocery shopping when you are zero waste. Tips for grocery shopping zero waste etc.

Thank you so much for this video! I’m farrrrr from being a minimalist but have been intrigued for awhile and have started to slowly evaluate what I have now and have started the process of getting rid of things that i no longer need. On a side note, would you be able to do a video on how you keep your house clean with a dog? And how you organize their stuff? Would love to know your tips!

Video suggestion: how do you deal with fancy events (weddings, etc) as a minimalist, when there’s so much pressure-especially for women-to dress in very specific, novel ways?

I do like this simple living. But with 4 children it's hardly possible. When I only put the stuff in the counters we need as a family, it's good filled. When friends come over, I need even more plates and cups... Maybe I just watch these videos to see how simple life can be when I'm older :-)

This not about a way of life, it's about knowing your landlord is gonna eventually sell the house or you eventually will lose your job. Nothing is long term these days a people not longer look at things in long term. Most people only look 6 months to a year in the future. In today's world you must be ready to move quickly. I don't care what anyone says, this is a miserable way to live.
