3 Ways To Fix iPhone Email Not Working

Let's fix your iPhone's mail app if your email is not working in this quick and easy guide.
iPhone comes with a default mail app that's usually great to add any type of email. However, if your email is not working I'll walk you through 3 different options you have to get your email working again. This works for sending or receiving emails, checking or updating your emails, and adding or removing email accounts. This will work for any iPhone including iPhone 12 or 11 running iOS 14.

I had verizon which is now AOL. Email stopped working (probably after an ios update) on all my devices. The solution for me was: I went into each email account’s settings, under “advanced” I found a setting for “authentication”. I changed that to “password” , back up a couple screens and click on “done”. Magic… worked

Honestly I am grateful for this video. I was having problems adding gmail to my new iphone and kept searching for a video like this but then I laughed after listening to the first part. I was like I have internet lady otherwise I wouldn’t be here. But guess what, I followed the lady’s directions/advice, still laughing - I turned off wifi and switched to data. Just like that I added my gmail account like the problem never existed. So thank you

Please help!! This did not work for me… I deleted my yahoo inbox from my iPhone as it wasn’t downloading messages from the server. I’ve gone to add account to put it back on but once I select yahoo and put in my login details, it goes to the page with the swipe right buttons for calendar/mail/contacts/reminders/and notes. Then goes back to ‘select account’ It doesn’t give me the option to hit save. I’m tearing my hair out! 😫

I recently bought an iPhone and I transferred my data with my Samsung. It worked, but one of my email doesnt work. When trying to send an email in outlook, doesn't work. Gmail, can't even go into the account. I really need help since I always send emails with that account and don't want to make another one, just to send emails again. My mail on my iPhone is not syncing all the time with my iPad. When it does it says can not connect to the server. When I do receive mail and I delete it on one device, it is still on other.. I tried deleting the email accts and re adding, but doesn’t fix problem..any suggestions?

If you want to turn of Wi-Fi you must turn it off from settings, not from the Control Panel. As you can see in the video, she did *turned off* from Control Panel menu but still using the Wi-Fi. Why? I don't know man but it is what it is. Trust me test it

My mail app won’t reinstall from App Store? Icon is showing but with a cloud & it doesn’t do anything. Hello does “offloading the app” delete all your emails in that account? Just simply saying it deletes data I’m still confused as too wait actually deletes. Please help as my email isn’t notifying me frequently like it always had since update 14.8
