Fix Outlook Not Sending or Receiving Emails
There are many reasons for you not being able to send or receive emails in outlook and i will show you how to try and fix and resolve the outlook problem.
These are a list of the main reasons why you cannot send or receive email:
1. wrong username and password information.
2. junk mail filter setting
3. check email server settings
4. check firewall settings
5. remove old profiles and old accounts
6. create not email profile
7. clear outlook cache
8. corrupted email profile
9. bad email rule
10. outlook is set to work offline
11. no internet connection

My issue seems to be with Outlook Connect and the only way I've found to repair it is to re-install the app. It doesn't hurt the existing files, settings or, seemingly, anything else but it does restore the functionality of Connect. Thanks.

Hi, I can't open my email, I get the message (this item has not been retrieved from the server. Do you want to: Mark to ,download, mark to rettrieve etc etc....OK or cancel....I wish I knew how to print screen to show you.

My problem is, once outlook is repaired/fixed it goes back or should I say, I receive the same synchronizing error code. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks. I have Outlook for Office 365 - no idea which version but you said 'no matter which version you are using' - So I followed and clicked on the email which is not working and up jumped a box titled 'Exchange Account Settings' - Under that it said Offline settings and the box was ticked where it said Use Cached Exchange etc - I clicked on next and was told the account was successfully updated. Following your instruction I then went to 'Account settings' and looked for 'Server setting' - not there! - I have: Account Name, Account Name & Sync Settings, Delegate Access, Download Address Book, Manage Mobile Notifications, Change Profile and Manage Profiles - no Server Settings - so I gave up.

Agreed! As usual with some of these "experts", they ALWAYS go to fast and assume that menus / Version numbers are the same. This is about the 5th video I've watched today, and not one has helped so far!

I have an online mail that stopped working after I deleted alot of spam. But all those settings are off or netural. I have no spam filtration. Only 1 spam mail came through, now it's dead quiet. Anye ideas?

Hello, I have Microsoft 365 MSO Outlook installed January 21 2022. My Outlook doesn't synch with my email. While looking for a fix I looked under the "Repair" setting and when my email address was loaded there was a Password autoloaded. When I clicked to see the password that was autoloaded it had the following characters preceding my actual password: 800CCC0C. Should this be the case? I never input 800CCC0C so I am assuming the system entered that. Should I change that password to my Actual password? The synch error message I get is 800CCC0C -0-0-940. Thank you.

my condition is that microsoft email works. icloud mail incoming works. but icloud outgoing email never works. the server setting is right as far as i see. BTW the “new” outlook works with icloud with no problem. don’t know what happen to standard outlook.

Can someone please help me? I’m not able to receive emails for some companies. My credit card company capital one has written me letters telling me emails to me are being bounced back as undelivered, when trying to reset my Klanna password I don’t receive any emails.

Spoiler alert. If you have recently changed your password and not updated through Settings-mail-account it won’t work. Hope this helps.

Hey britech not a tech guy but very recently I had to get a tech guy to replace my main ssd because it died and it had windows 10 dowloaded as I got my pc back which was today I noticed I'm in admin mode for some reason so at that point I was ok just going to sign in but I forgot my windows pin but I couldn't reset it because i couldn't get out of local admin mode so I tried deleting it but I couldn't then I tried command prompt on windows advanced settings but there Is a password lock at that point I'm scared I think the repair man is being really sus I'm angry and scared I was going to call him but he's Closed I really want your opinion is this bad ? Plz respond 🙏😢

How about a video on this: Gmail to Outlook from Pop3 to IMAP. I believe that Google just made a change regarding funneling their Gmail through Outlook, considering Outlook an "Unsafe" app. I am currently running three accounts on Pop3 and they are now not receiving mail into Outlook. The one account setup with IMAP settings is receiving. Is there an easy way to convert our accounts from POP3 to IMAP? Thanks!

Go into outlook and re-set your Pop 3 account to imap. However, As of March 2022 Gmail will not accept emails from third parties like Yahoo, Windows Live mail, Outlook etc etc for security reasons, unless they are right up to date versions. So, the button that says "accept less secure apps" has been removed. You now have to get a password generated by Google that you put in your Outlook or Yahoo or whatever you use. You have to go into Google mail . Click on your Google account (where your picture is shown in GMail). Click on 'Manage Google account', then security, then create two-step sign in and turn on. Once you have the two step sign in done, sign out then go back to your Gmail account (where your picture is), click on "manage Google account" one more time, then back to security a second time and then look for App passwords. This opens a box where you enter your standard Google password. Click next. Then select app or device that you want to allow to "talk" to gmail by selecting on the drop-down tabs. Most users will select 'windows computer' then click on "generate Google Password". Copy that 16 letter password and enter it into your Outlook/Windows live mail/Yahoo mail as its new password and then you will have no more trouble logging on to Gmail using another 'less secure' mail platform. The overall password to your Google account does not change but the password generated by Google is its way of saying "you can enter", to Outlook/WLM/Yahoo etc. I have written this from memory but follow the basics of this, fiddle around and you will get it right.

@@Stormy4757 Hi my friend, no matter what platform you use, if you want it to 'talk' to Gmail you have to follow the steps above, or, as you say, abandon Gmail and use another platform altogether. That will mean an email address change.

Bottom line the basics are fails, Outlook does not send mail ever, microsoft just blaims the carrier, ALL CARRIERS, microsoft 365 is a rip off. Plain and simple it just does not work.
