For anyone interested in the blondies, here's a few things I can share: 1)Try to use a good quality white chocolate so it's not just one-dimensional sweetness 2)If you don't like desserts that are too cloyingly sweet, def reduce the sugar by at least ⅓ 3)If you do reduce the amount of sugar, add some citrus or spices to accentuate the sweetness a little and have a well rounded flavor.( I used powdered ginger before and it works,thinking about trying cardamom/cloves/pink peppercorns the next time) 4) Do not overbake this, it is chewy when it cools down completely, take it out when it looks slightly under baked and it will continue to set while it cools 5)Cut into it after it cools completely or just slightly warm, otherwise it will crumble on you

Oh my gosh!! I’m such a boob! I’ve watched your shows on TV, but never thought of looking you up on KZfaq! And then the thumbnail for this video popped up as a suggestion on my TV, and that’s when I grabbed my phone and instantly subscribed! Now I can’t wait to make the blondies with dried cranberries and white chocolate! (Would you please share which white chocolate you used, or recommend?) Plus that rice pudding with all the spices and extra creaminess that you added with the egg yolks and mascarpone…to die for! And the apple crumble, YUM!! Now to binge watch your videos! @@rb6168 Hey I'm not a fan of the blondie recipe as it's usually intended to be gooey and runny / almost raw looking inside also the white chocolate is bit too sweet, I don't like the raw feeling texture of the blondies similar to the traditional mudcakes I find too sweet and runny as well, white chocolate and cranberries are a good pair generally in baking though. I prefer to bake other type of desserts or just some brownies with coffee in them and a dark chocolate / coffee glaze on top instead of these blondies but it's just my opinion. Overall I like almost all of Gordons recipes and I've watched his videos and shows (Kitchen Nightmares etc.) for over 10 years and find it funny when I see him cook some foods on this channel which is similar to what I've eaten for years already just give or take couple different ingredients.

Thanks Gordon Ramsay for these three desserts. I love the twist you put on each of them. I’ve never tasted Blondies but it looks yum. Rice Pudding was a staple food growing up in the 1960-1980s as a kid. Rice pudding, creamed rice, rice in desserts yummm. Apple crumble is always an absolute favourite but I’ve never thought of using muesli, always used rolled oats, nor have I grated apples or added caramel sauce in it, so I’m definitely going to try it Gordon’s way. Thanks again 🇦🇺🐨🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺.

I made the apple crumble last week for the family. I left the sugar a little too long, or perhaps the temperature was a little too high - parts started to turn to toffee. None the less, it still tasted fantastic and I'm trying it again tonight!

Fantastic. Thanks Gordon. Rice pudding is a favourite and this has lovely additions - but can't stand lime with/in anything sweet. I can use it in savoury dishes from home made pico de gallo to cooked savoury foods. Perhaps I'll try lemon zest instead!

I recently got into cooking too and I am also an amateur cook. I would suggest choosing one that inspires you or you think your family would love. The first one I tried was the chicken fricassee because my daughter who is a picky eater loves drumsticks. I made few mistakes but it still came out good enough. My family loved it. I started practicing the technique for cooking meat and wow huge difference in taste texture and smell. Definitely watch his videos for cooking stake, pork chops, and chicken breast it will change your world.

Never been a Gordon Ramsey fan, not because I didn't like him, but because I only knew him by reputation, which honestly he seemed a bit scary lol, so I never watched anything with him. This video popped up on my feed randomly and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. His whole vibe is mellow and I love how he teaches and explains things. Am disappointed that he didn’t take the time to really brown that butter. Makes a Huge difference in flavor and gives them an even more golden color. Have been doing blondies for 30yrs and have Always browned the butter. Also for chocolate chip cookies as well.
