My mother is told that after saw this, they made it from her childhood, her grandmother made it, they belongs from odisha. Its always prepare in my house till yet. Its famous in odisha.

First one is also a famous dish from a district called mangalore in Karnataka, India 🇮🇳. We call this as kappa rotti. It tastes awesome when have with fish curry( meen saar).

In Bangladesh, it's called citui pita . We have it with fish curry , some homemade chatni (sauce) and gaggrey.

@@mdjabedali7133 we usually do not have it with fish curry. Rather it is most commonly used with beef/duck curry. In the sweet version we soak them in milk+jaggery mixed liquid which is called “dudh chitoi” meaning “milk chitoi”. Also we can use different types of vorta(or chatni) to eat this pitha. Also the name is chitoi pitha, not citui pitha. Don’t present wrong information to people of other country.

@@antaraanikapiya4255 Yeah, I know that's called "chitoi pitha " . I got a mistake while typing. But we have it with fish curry .I don't know that what other people eat it with . But in our family, we have it with fish curry and chatni (vorta ) and aloo ghonto (curry). You are also right that we have it with beef or duck curry. We also eat the milk socked chitoi (duad chitui ) . But I write this comment about the first pitha of this video. If you watch this video properly, there is the recipe of the (duad chitoi ) or milk socked chitoi. And other point , I never give wrong information. If you don't have it with fish curry then other can't eat it.

This is not a Bangladeshi pitha recipe because milk is used to soak the pitha in Bangladeshi pitha recipe, not water. That's called "dudh chitui". And the type of rice flour is also different.🇧🇩🇧🇩

I really don't know how would it taste but this is not at all the traditional way of preparing this pitha. And the pitha is not soaked in water with jaggery but it's soaked in either milk or date juice.

Don't offend but The whole Bangal(Bangladesh+West Bengal of India) is like china.. because whatever they make they think it's theirs.. It's originally (the pitha which called chitau pitha) created in Odisha and it has also it's history back in Dwapara and Treteya yug.. as the Bengal and odisha were once a united state ,so the food is travelled to Bangladesh and West Bengal

Chitoi pitha just mithai er panite bhijaya,, how is this possible,,ki patla jhol,,, dudh koi,,,ami ajke baniyesi,,1st time,,Alhamdulillah khub valo hoise,, ami pic dite parle akhhoni ditam😭😑 bhejano chitoi amon kore banay nah, kheteo moja hoina, Ami bhejano chitoi apnar cheye odhik mojadar kore banate parbo...sob recipe etto valo lage, but banglar rannaghore aei chitoi pithar recipe valo hoini😣😣 ami mukher upore boli ja boli
