I've been loc'd up for 3 years now! Having dreadlocks for so long has been a serious but fun journey. I have learned soo much in this time and I can't wait to create more in-depth content about it. I have been seriously MIA from KZfaq dealing with life's problems and setbacks. The creative break was needed because ow the excitement is back for creating long-form content, I forgot how therapeutic it was creating videos and talking to ya'll. Try not to oil everyday, instead, focus more on moisturizing (ideally a water based mist (aloe vera, rose water, etc)) Oil is like a layer, Everytime you oil your hair your creating a new layer, that'll suffocate your the follicles and scalp. I think the best time to oil is after a wash, because that's when we disrupt our natural oils, the idea to use a temporary oil in the mean time until our scalp produce more oil. Also, that retwist is going to be a detox too brother? Other than that your hair looks healthy

Yeah exactly right! I use a very light weight oil and mist currently and wash my hair each week. I’m looking to get a detox at the next appointment
