Not sure if I touched on it... I have seen the grained leather version in person. Frankly, I would still prefer the smooth one. It's not as scratch-prone as people would expect because up close there's still a bit of grain present and it's still calfskin. As you can see from my bag, I don't see any prominent wear even if it's been used a lot. The grained version is more expensive and I personally don't like the size of the grain on them --- That's just my opinion. My bag has been rained on a few times and I just wiped it off without any damage whatsoever (but I do admit to using some sort of leather protector on them such as CarbonPro or Havre de Luxe). But ultimately, it's up to you because it would depend on the color you prefer. Some colors only come in the grained version.

There are some crack marks but from afar, the logo is still pretty much whole. Doesn’t bother me at all. I think it’s all part of normal wear and tear

Thanks! Happy to give some insight into my love for this bag. Right now, I don’t bring as much stuff so I don’t use it as much. BUT it got a lot of use when it was my only high end luxury bag back then. I also brought it to travel with me and it was my daily bag then. Since it’s a light bag in and of itself, I don’t tend to stuff it to the point where I can’t handle the weight. The strap’s also wide and comfortable enough so it helps. Honestly, not really. The bag itself is not that heavy for me so I put a bunch of stuff in there and with the thick strap, it’s not uncomfortable or weighs down on my shoulder.

So far, no problems on glazing whatsoever. It’s really held up well at over four years old

It’s been almost a year since this review. I don’t think it’s gotten worse. Then again, I rarely use the bag nowadays because I now have more bags on rotation.

I asked to loewe store, it could be repair About 70€.

Nope… at least in my experience. The classic calfskin is durable and doesn’t need to be babied

I think it depends on your proportions with the bag. I personally don’t find it bulky. You can check my mod shots in the video. 😊 The leather is also soft and not so structured so it’s not too stiff and can rest properly against your body

I have the same one and do not find it bulky. If you have doubts, if possible, try different sizes in a store. Maybe the small size fits all you're needs

Not everyone has the opportunity to visit store were they sell Loewe, but if you can, go try out which size suits you're bodyframe and which size can carry everything you need

It's a beautiful bag! It seems you had to really pull on the opening to see into the bag, would you consider the short zippered opening a drawback, if you had to name one drawback? I wonder if all Puzzle flaps are wavy, don't lay flat? Anyone else's flap do this too?

@@bethanyanderson1745 Hi. Sorry I just saw the comment now. I am not really bothered by the opening because it's open at the end so it's not really that enclosed (if you see the end of the zipper it can flap open). I have no problem putting a camera and even a water bottle in there. If by wavy, you mean soft and not structured, then yes, I think most puzzle bags are like that and they get even softer over time.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I personally think the large puzzle is the one that's more of a man size bag. The medium is still, after all, part of the women's collection. It all depends on how you'll use the bag. I personally use this more for travel or if I have a lot of stuff to bring for work.
