Bought my medium black puzzle bag in 2016. There was not many variations then, maybe none. I carry most by the handle. I would call it a classic now. Not a trend! I've never regretted this purchase and have three other Loewe bags (only one other a puzzle variant).

I just got mine a couple months ago. I totally love it. I have the medium size so I know there are slight differences with the bag but I feel like I’d love the small just as the same. The strap can be funky without a rotating bit but I found once connected correctly it’s easy to use. Just hook the straps on the inner side of the angled hook. Straighten out the strap first and make sure the square Loewe logo is on your body. Hope that helps

I love my new Loewe mini puzzle that I recently bought. Actually like it more than many of my LV pieces because of the leather quality. I’m building a variety this year and just bought my first Chanel bag today. It’s fun to try new things I’m finding. Sorry you’re not enjoying your puzzle as a long term investment 😢. Mine definitely feels like it is and am loving it, especially the orange pop of color I bought it in that everyone seems to comment on 😊. The good news is that you get to keep searching for your perfect crossbody bag!

I believe the flat logo side of the strap rivet should be against your shoulder, not the ball part. You can see it even in the website photo, it’s on the underside. I love my puzzle but agree it’s whatever you feel is worth your money more. For me, I owned the pochette metis, speedy and puzzle and ended up selling both LVs but I still love my puzzle! I love my mini puzzle in Black. The most used bag i ever had. With right technique it’s easy to get in and out of. I love it so much that I want it in small black. The leather has been so durable that I’m still amazed when I look at it. It’s been stepped on multiple times by kids with shoes and not babyed at all and it still only have a little mark on the flap ( almost invisible). I have been looking at other bags but i still want the Sam bag in same color just in small size, because I just know I will love it so much. The small fits more for travel and days where I need more.

You have trouble with the strap because you are supposed to wear the stap " upside " down in your case. You are wearing it wrong. The flat loewe brand is supposed to be on your shoulder and is not showing. I bought my Puzzle preloved end of 2019 and did tons of YT research after I saw in on Karen Britt Chick channel. And at Loewe store they tell you which way the strap is worn best.

I’ve been eyeing on the puzzle bag for years. I tried it in store and liked the small size in Black. However I didn’t get it because I always thought it costed more than what it is. Like you said, for that amount of money, I would rather get a LV bag. 😂

I have a mini puzzle. It’s hard to get in and out. I wish I got the small size, but Loewe has increased price so much.

I love my medium puzzle. It has the perfect size, but I absolutely don‘t get mini bags. I also have the small puzzle because for a limited collab they only came out in that size and I hate the small opening. It does fit a lot, but I just prefer the medium. I think it always comes down to the own preference as many people seem to love the mini one… I also have the Pochette Metis, but use it seldom because it is not so practical as it fit less because of all the compartments.

I am also looking for a puzzle bag and have been thinking about it for a while too. I really like yours! Sorry you aren’t happy with it! I think you are supposed to wear the strap with the logo down so the pin doesn’t poke into your skin. Not sure about where to place the hooks though.

I use a medium one as my camera bag and it's superisingly roomy. The calf skin is very soft and delicate and IMO they should have installed feet on small size too.

I attach the strap on the back side only (not one in front and one in back). You may find the strap more comfortable and steady. The logo on the stap lays on the bottom side (so it's hidden). Beautiful color!

The puzzle bag is more low key than LV so it’s actually much safer to travel with than an LV bag that is high profile! Just saying if you think LV is more worth it but I can say it’s more recognisable due to their empreinte leather usually imprinted with the LV logo so don’t go thinking it’s low profile, it’s not and at times you need to feel safe on the roads and an LV bag attracts more attention. It’s actually better to consider those new quiet luxury bags these days like that Polene or Ateliers Auguste brand which I feel is very affordable and good in quality and even if these bags have to go thru the conveyor belt of the airport or be tuck under the seat on airplane, it’s not a bag I need to be too concern about staining or ruining it.

The flat side of the hardware with logo on the strap should be face down. The circular part should face out so it doesn’t dig into your shoulder. There is no right or wrong way to clip on the strap. Whatever suits you best. I really love the quality of the Loewe leather. I’ve owned the tan calfskin medium Puzzle for over 5 years (when it was still under $2k!). The leather is so durable even in the rain. I don’t have to baby it at all. The shape of this bag should slouch more over time. I like to wear mine both on my elbow and shoulder. I think the metallic gunmetal colored leather has a lot to do with your hesitations about the bag. I think a standard non metallic color would be more your speed.

I think, having watched the whole thing, that you bought the wrong bag for you, for reasons other than simply that you loved it. BTW gunmetal is always metallic. There's a difference between checking boxes and arriving at X, and seeing absolutely the bag you cannot live without, and purchasing it. I did the latter!!

Pochette metis is so much lower quality than the Puzzle bag.

For someone who claims that they did extensive research months before the purchase, you missed alot of obvious things that can simply be learned through an SA and a youtube video 🤣
