Becoming an ADHD coach has given me a few unexpected growth opportunities that I want to share with you. Whether or not you want to be a coach, I think there's an opportunity for us to improve these aspects of ourselves to be better humans and live better lives.
To name just a few benefits of ADHD coaching, I've learned how to silence my inner critic, maximize my time, and even improve my attention span. (Yes, you read that right, an ADHD coach with an enhanced attention span!)
But the most valuable lesson? Recognizing that we are all whole, perfect human beings on our own unique journeys. Each day, I'm awed by the brilliance of my clients - and it's made me more compassionate, both towards myself and others.
So here's a shout-out to all my fellow ADHDers! Remember, you're not broken, you're brilliant. And if you've ever thought about becoming an ADHD coach, or hiring one, drop me a line. I'd love to share more about this fascinating journey I'm on.

Watching KZfaq channels like yours has helped me in a similar way as coaching has helped you.

I love what you said about judgment - to remain curious instead of critical.

That's actually a huge disconnect for me... I can teach something without having learned/ bought into it. 😵‍💫 Or I have such a hard time applying things to my own life yet don't have difficulty helping someone else with it. Very strange... 🤦🏽‍♀️

@@Heyu7her3 OMG SAME! I somehow, time and time again, manage to come up with the exact words that a person needs to hear in order to bridge a certain level of understanding about a particular topic or even help validate/reconcile some personal conflict in their life, but then I struggle to apply that same type of informed understanding towards bettering my own life. As fulfilling as it feels to be able to see and hear people well enough to extend some level of tangible support with relative ease, it is equally frustrating that my own happiness and wellbeing does not receive anywhere near the same benefit from such a skillset. 😣

Hey Caren, I have ADHD and thinking the same thing you mentioned, that working with other people would help me get better myself. I really enjoy your videos and appreciate knowledge and experience you are sharing.

Hey Caren! I’d love to hear more about the process of becoming an ADHD coach. I’m sure it would be helpful for my nutrition clients, but honestly, I would be doing it just as much to help myself. But I’m definitely prone to signing up for one class after another. 😅 What are your thoughts? Would it be better to just hire a coach than go through the training? Thx for all you do!

Hi Caren!!! You are God sent and thank u for your vids. I'm an ADHD entrepreneur as well and in online branding. Can you please do à video on the must haves equipment for HIGH QUALITY vidéo content that will guarantee growth?

Hi! There is honesty no such thing as guaranteed growth in this biz. Also, I used just my iPhone for the first 1.5 years of my channel. Now I use a cheap Sony camera. Equipment is not what makes a great channel, consistency and passion is!

Do you recommend a coaching training and/or what are good things to look for in that kind of training. If you don't recommend one or some in particular, where do you look to become an ADHD coach? Thank you.

I love public speaking and reading. I love tinkering with mechanical devices. I have no follow-through. I hate creating resumes.(applying for work because there is no clear career path, which H.R. people hate)What video do you have for that?

Hi. I got a little confused. As I understand, a therapist listens and asks questions to reflect back, and they may provide exercises, unlike a coach. A coach works with clients to help them set and achieve personal or professional goals, providing support, accountability, and motivation through structured coaching sessions.
