Hi Sir, I would like to read " The Alchemist". I had got a chance to read it once ,through my college library about 18 years back. I wish to read it again and gift these books to my son & daughter, so that, when they grew up, the knowledge gained by them through reading and understanding these books may help them to be successful in life and become good citizens, who can contribute for the betterment of society. The Major take away from the book " The Alchemist"is that, Our destiny, our ultimate goal, requires endless suffering. Suffering for our destiny is more heroic, more rewarding, and all-around more badass than living a safe life.

The " IKIGAI " I want to read this book because It helps you to become more positive from within. It motivates you to feel at peace with yourself and your life. It enables you to focus on your peace of mind and will to live. Positivity comes from within once you have your purpose in your sights, a healthy lifestyle, and the correct perspective.

I would love to read the book “Why has Nobody Told Me This Before” As a young teen who is diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and have trouble talking to people I think this book could teach me a few things. I used to be a very bubbly young kid, having no trouble talking to other kids and elders. As I grew older I became more and more reversed, de-connected from the people I once loved talking to. I always ask myself this question “why” but I never seem to have the answer. I’d love to ask people “how” they do it but people always brush me off. Maybe this book could be my start up guide. Help me find an answer or a path. I’d absolutely love to have this book and give it a try at this point I’d love to try anything to not lose hope, but if there is someone else out there who needs this book more then I’d be happy for them to have it

Hi Ankur! I would choose "Courage to be disliked". The reason behind that is the difference I see in my attitude when I am all by myself and when I am around others, especially my family and closest friend. My actions are not based on what I genuinely want to do- but what would others think of me and the action. Repetitively going for such choices have turned me into a "people pleaser ". I fear being disliked so much that with each year I have started to give up a little bit of myself ...and conform to the norms of the society. Become that ideal daughter, ideal grand daughter, ideal girlfriend , ideal sister, ideal friend , ideal student .....that I am no longer the same girl that I was proud of when I was a kid. I have tried a lot of Self Help books but it seems that all of them give me answers to many problems but this one. I would also like to extend my gratitude for the amazing recommendation. Hope to tick all these boxes in my life. :D 🙃

I think no one is able to decide which one is best, each book has it's own perspective of visualization, but practically I decide to choose the book "REWORK" because i believe that there is nothing which can't be achieve with hard work and dedication, the line that made me more attractive toward this book that everyone has to be dedicated to try the things more and more times that is "Let's start with beginning... "

Good morning Sir . First of all, Heartly thankful to you for always providing us with such a thoughtful and motivational content. To be very honest , being a books lover it's really difficult to make a choice out of all to choose one book. Still following the rules is priority. I have currently passed out my high school and now soon going to enter in the new phase of my life that's COLLEGE. So my preference for a book is BOOK NO.18-COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED. REASON BEING : There i m gonna meet a diversity of students. Some of them would be friendly, judgmental, rude, kind and many more. So i wanna develop a kind of CAREFREE ATTITUDE in myself that incase i meet some judgy or egoistic people, i wish i would have adapted to the COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED. Moreover i m taking your views in much consideration that you said " It's one of the must read book for people in their 20's" Thank you Sir !! Hope you would take my comment in your consideration !!

The Courage To Be Disliked is something I feel I would like to read because most of us are simply willing to flow with the tide of diurnal lives just to please others or simply because we do not want to upset the order in which things are. The name seems catchy and honestly Sir, the fact that you mentioned that the feeling is quite liberating that is something we should all learn and accept.

Hey sir, I wanna read 'why has nobody told me this before' and the reason being is first - this book is recommended by almost everybody whom I consider my mentors (Ali Abdal, you..) And second - I am currently reading 'ikigai' and have already read 'Atmamun' which basically encourages us to question ourselves on how to be calm from within, how to live a happy life, how to become our own god etc. So, I want to get proper knowledge on such topics coz I m a school student and I can relate to the problems we (students) are going through. Thus, want to motivate others and I can say with pride I m not on the path.

"How to talk to anyone" Human behaviour lies on a spectrum. Always and besides each situation being different so i wanna learn the fundamental of communication & wanna be a better communicator. and leave great first impression and make people feel comfortable around me in all walks of life. Our ability to communicate with others makes the difference between people taking us seriously, doing what we ask (without too much hassling) and our ability to influence other.

Namaste Ankur!! First of all A Big Thank you for sharing your recommendation as it helps so much !! My personal favorite's our Man's Search for Meaning and Rework but the book that encourages or my always go to book is The Courage To Be Disliked - This book is one such book that keeps me consistent even if you have a path different from others. All our life especially being women I was drawn through self appreciation or worth or fulfilment when I received appreciation from others of what I did or do... But this book shook me to know that in a Society or a world that benefits from your self doubts being your own self is a rebellious act.

I recently read How come no one told me this before after seeing Dr Julie’s popularity on social media. Excellent book that explains how the brain works and puts you back in the driver’s seat on how to live life, deal with stress and anxiety. I would also like to add You’re too Good to feel this Bad by Nate Dallas. Very practical and to the point book. I have read the Alchemist, Almanack of Naval Ravikant and Do Epic Shit. All of them so brilliant! Next on my list I’d Courage to be Disliked which I am carrying with me to the beach. And then re-read them. Sadhguru’s Inner Engineering and Karma are great books for inner transformation. I would like to read the Psychology of Money because I haven’t read it and I liked hearing your conversation with Morgan Housel.

"WHO WILL CRY WHEN YOU DIE" The reason why I am writing the name of this book is as follows: 1) I just passed my 12th and going to do my graduation and I have fallen in love with reading. I read books sleeping, eating, shiting, everytime. I would loveeeeeeee to enjoy all of these books. 2) This book made me think something which I used to think a lot. Mere marne ke baad kitne log mere peeche khada rahenge. Hame abhi tak jitna seekha samjha Jaana hai duniya ke baare mein uss hisab se ham bas yeh chathe hai ki mere maut pe mere apne logon ki bheed honi chaiye dost Yaar ghar parivar woh sab log jinko ham apna mante hai. Yeh bahuttttttt khubsurat cheez hai Zakir Khan ka ek shayri hai jo mere iss baat ko sum up karti hai "Zindagi bhale hi ghumnam rahe Maut mein mashhoor chatha hoon" Toh bas yeh cheez sochne pe majboor karti hai yeh kitab aur hame bahut jigyasa hai isse padhne ki. 3)Khareed nahi sakte kitab hamne barwi bhi bina book ke pass ki I am not bragging but it's just truth. I got 86 in 12th without any accountancy book i was from commerce. 4) I am dayummmmmmmmm desperate for books.i have completed three books from the list already reading from mobile in epub format. I would still love to re read them. 5) I am really really really desperate for the books mannnnn. I love reading and yeah i want the books. I would really love to get it and i would be disappointed if I didn't got it ofcourse but like I would read them anyway on the phone.and yuppppp I love getting better with your videos. Hello, Ankur First off, I want to say how much I adore the fact that you are doing such amazing things online. Keep doing what you are doing and you own a significant portion of my heart. I'm an undergrad studying engineering. Furthermore, the degree of cooperation among human species fascinates me a lot. And I want sapiens because, even if I have learned a lot about society throughout my life, there are still many things that need to connect in my brain. I have been fascinated about how our society functions since I was a young child, and I believe that curiosity has not subsided. And religion and money are still another huge mental jumble about which I genuinely want to understand the fundamentals of how our society came to be. And I truly am a student of curiosity, as you indicated in your video summary of the book Sapiens. You also asked us to keep track of how many times you spelt the term "sapiens," which was 22 times. And I am very very very excited to get this book from you rather than buy it from a store.

I believe if one's effective, they can achieve what they desire without burning out their energy. I would love to read all the 30 books that you mentioned but my first one will be 'Atomic Habits'. I have read ikigai, alchemist and just finished with ' attitude is everything'. While i was reading the book i was fully into it, believing every word of it. But as soon as the book ended, my thinking again became negative, confidence dropped. So i think first working on my habits will help me do many things, getting better results which will surely boost my self eestem(as a student is always judged by their results only). I am such a doubtful person, i was hesitating to write here anything but thought to give it a try(as the little influence of the book still exist). Still no hopes😅. But Thankyou Sir for your content.

I've started reading the books rich dad poor dad, atomic habits, ikigai, truly they are bringing significant change in the way I see things. I would like to read the book "how would you measure your life". The title made me pause the video and think how should one measure his life? Parents say it is degree, neighbours say it is car, own House and salary, friends say it is happiness, one say it is fame, few say it is contentment, everyone has their own parameter to judge and I'm curious about it, as I'm in my early 20s I think its the right time for me to read the book and get a clearer and bigger picture of life. Hi Ankur ! Vani here ! Firstly ,Let me state that I am absolutely grateful for the legacy of videos you have created for people of this world. For someone like me who belongs to the typical middle class Indian family, even though money saving has always been an important factor in our lives, finance was never been a widely discussed topic and your videos really made my fear of handling money go away. In fact advice on any of life's aspects that come from you has always been useful and each one your videos feel like growth honestly. However, I have come to realize in these years of lockdown that growth is only complete when knowledge or learning is backed by action. And in the past few years, I Have felt like my action has been blocked by own self on many occasions. Hence for this very reason I feel the book "Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before" would be a good way to add into my journey of understanding myself more as a person and helping in resolving matters of the self. This is important not just because it helps me in functioning more efficiently in life, but also I feel it will in some sort help me stabilize my unresolved issues so that I don't unload it on to the people around me or on to the future generations, creating a beautiful legacy of the wise mind and safe space just like you. Again, Thanks a ton for doing what you do, hopefully someday we can meet and converse!

"Sapiens" I was never interested in history and always thought it to be boring and useless to study. But recently my opinion has changed. Not long ago, I made a new friend who is a history lover and knows a lot about human history, their evolution etc. And that was when my perception began to change and I've started appreciating it. I enjoy studying history now and I think this book will be a great read for me. After reading it myself, I'll also offer it to that history-lover friend of mine. He's gonna love it too, I'm sure.
