It only made sense for me because my grandma works at an orthodontist’s office and ,ironically, I’m one of the only grandkids with straight enough teeth to not need braces. Little do they know that is the only thing about me that is straight.

Ik I’m kinda late, but how can you find out if your parents are supportive or not- I want them to have a good opinion on the lgbt+ people before I come out, just to make sure I won’t get kicked out or anything

You have to make sure you are in a comfortable position. Choosing the right place and time is very important. Make sure that the person you are going to tell isn’t going through something and that they are in the right headspace for you to come out. Also be sure to have a back up plan like someone to go to if it goes wrong like a friends house or something. Hope this advice helps and if you do decide to come out Good Luck. I’m proud of you for taking this big step in your life

Hey Dutchy! I’m in a bit of a confusion hole. I never liked being called she/her, so I told some close friends that I wanted to go by they/them. I’m getting a haircut and planning to secretly get a binder. But then a few days ago, my mom accidentally called me “he” and it kids felt right? It's okay to be confused and unsure of your gender identity. I can't relate in terms of this so I do find it a little harder to give advice on this topic but I guess you just need to ask yourself 'what do I like being called?' or 'what do I feel most comfortable with?' and see what comes to mind then! I think time is your best friend right now. But always here to answer as many questions as I can to the best of my ability lovely

My mom bought a book on how to "help teen girls through the seven transitions to adulthood" I put a note saying that I'm Trans (ftm) in it and I have yet to give it back to her.

I’m bi. I’ve known for a few years too many. Tomorrow I’m planning to write my mom a note and tape it on the door. When she gets home, hopefully she will see it and talk to me after. Thanks for being such an inspiration and providing a bit of comfort in my anxious life.

I came out like a couple days before quarantine to a mate because we were in a free class, I drew one of my celebrity crushes and was complaining about how one of the eyes were squint. She said it wasn't that bad so I replied the only thing that the eye was more straight then was me, we both burst out laughing and so far throughout quarantine we are both messaging eachother to help with our unaccepting parents. Love your videos and I just wanted to say this video came out on my birthday and it made it so much better since I have to spend it with my homophobic parents rather than my mates, so thanks😁

My parents are divorced, and I have came out to my mom and my sister. I'm still trying to find a way to come out to my dad and my dad's side of the family, so this video might help.
